My favorite part was the mention of Fetus of God at the beginning.
And one person on controller, one person on keyboard? I remember that.

Man back then (at least for me and my friends) it was rare for anyone to have a controller. The keyboard was everyone's preference though. It was so unfair but still fun.

Well, I had one controller, but it was one that used the "game port" or whatever they called that small serial port back then.
Since there was only one port, it wasn't possible for us to have two of that type hooked up. At least cheaply that we knew of.

So mostly GLB and I just took turns beating up the computer.

The controller itself wasn't bad. Kind of a bigger Genesis style cross, 6 face buttons and 2 shoulder buttons, but those shoulder buttons were just clones of two of the face buttons so it wasn't 8 as the box suggested.

Later once we found out about WinMugen being available, thankfully USB adapters for PS1 controllers were cheaply available at Radio Shack.
