Title: Blender Character Problem
Post by: Richatu on December 29, 2013, 09:54:02 pm
It would be lovely if someone could explain what I'm doing wrong. (I am using the sample G6_lite skeleton but made my own model for it)

It's mesh weight failure.

1. Not weighted
2. different bone name
3. Weight amount not 100%

Check these point.

Okay I looked up some stuff about weight painting, i didn't really get it. But after tinkering around with it i managed to get this result.

Click spoiler to show a picture of the problem
Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty

I fixed the legs and crotch, but the torso along with small parts of neck and the arms is invisible.

And thank you all so much for your help! I really look forward to understanding how to make characters for EF-12! :)

The Reason of lack of polygon is max weight over. Maximum numebr of weight is 4 weight per 1 POLYGON.
Be careful, It's not 4 weight per 1 VERTEX.

Good Lack !
