And it obviously wasn't posted anywhere because there was no reason to do so. Private discussion dude.
OOOKAYsoI moved the forum to a private server I got. This one's a dedicated machine but it does tons of other things. It might choke on the load, but who knows. For the time being, the network pages will be down, not going to move all that stuff over here as it's meant to be a temporary solution.I'll try to contact the support and ask for the vserver to be moved to another host system. We'll see how that goes. Until then, get comfy here There SHOULD be little difference for most users. If you see something you think should be there, leave me a message here
seems like it loses several newer topics or replies in many sections, not really important though (at least not for me) as long as it operates smoothly
Thanks Val, for a day I though Guild really was dead forever (this is the form I post most)Oh, there's a stuff: emoticons doesn't appear...
the emoticon in your post appears fine in my browser, but it seems like the site is rolled few days back, all recent posts are gone that's all I see here.
since the DNS update was quite unexpected it will probably take some time until it reaches every last DNS-Server...until then, the forums might also still appear offline to some people trying to access it
I had the 500 error popping up earlier this morning. also, seems a couple of authors' sites hosted by the guild are down.

Stop going after the guy while he is trying to helpI honestly don't see how I was.I'm being serious too.
The rest of us got it.His forum had some similar faults. The webmaster looked into it and found out what it was. They had a discussion and did something about it. What you can see is just the initial impression, it's not actually the bloody results of what went on. If we are having SIMILAR problems it's possible the solution would be similar. And yes there was an insane number of guests on last night.
maybe all of those those are spammers studying us and our behaviors and mating rituals and all that shit to blend in
At the risk of being a little annoying, i have to ask: what happened today with this forum? It was down from ~8am GMT until 11pm GMT, and now everything looks pretty much scrambled. I see subforums with latest replies but when i click the main forum they aren't there, i see last replies from users that didn't replied in those topics at all...So, uhm, yeah, i am a bit confused...
it looks confusing as hell, yeah. the missing old posts were restored in favor of the few new posts that were made today (which are gone). the "latest posts" are all wrong until someone posts something new in that particular board.
Are those posts gone for good? I just lost several detailed posts about the full game I'm working on that I really don't want to have to type up again. Edit: Apparently Val just answered that...Fuck.
I am really sorry, but yes those are gone. This was not my intention I'll be more careful in the future.
It's cool Val, shit happens. Especially with forums and server problems like this. Thanks for getting everything back up and running.
