I would like to bring up to JZ that you are a voter. You have to decide which guy won't make the same mistakes. How can you do that without history.

I am of the opinion that they should add civics and other humanities as well though.

On topic though, This movement better get organised or it is going to die.

Organised..... Lol.

I dunno what your congress is so frightened of with these guys. Because when you get right down to it, the occupy movement is really just another project chanology. Albeit one on a larger scale, but also, one with the same attention span.

As Occupy has proven to be inept they're probably not afraid anymore. But they were afraid cos they didn't want their corporate donations cut - God forbid a real representative get elected through support from REAL people.

btw AT&T gives some of the largest monetary donations to candidates - to the tune of more than 30 million dollars :o

Seems the topic doesnt interest many here but well, yesterday the demonstrations reached a newpeak

Over 700 people were arrested in New York alone

The Occupy Wall Street protesters say they are encouraged by growing crowds in lower Manhattan, and the movement is spreading to cities around the country.

People rallied in Albuquerque, New Mexico ... and marched to City Hall in Los Angeles.

In Chicago, the crowd outside the Federal Reserve Bank began growing a week ago.

Protestors in New York say they just want their voices heard, and pledge to keep demonstrating through the winter, reports CBS News correspondent Kerry Ederer.

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has not said how long he'll let the protesters camp out in lower Manhattan.

Several unions are planning to join protesters in Manhattan for a march next week.
