Question, how large is SSB's roster right now in comparison to the largest rosters of other fighting game franchises like Street Fighter and King of Fighter and Mortal Kombat?

Is it larger than those franchises, or around the same size?

Super Smash Brothers Wii U/3DS: 36

Ultra Street Fighter 4: 44

Mortal Kombat (2011): 32 (+DLC)

King of Fighters XIII: 38 (+DLC)

Ultimate Marvel v. Capcom 3: 50 (+DLC)

Tekken Tag Tournament 2: 59 (+DLC and Clones)

Soul Calibur V: 28 (+DLC and Clones)

If the 50 character roster thing is real for Smash then it's one of the largest rosters.

Mortal Kombat Armageddon, 64 Characters
Marvel vs. Capcom 2, 56 Characters
King of Fighters around 66 characters in KOF 2002 Unlimited Rematch including additional versions of characters

I'd also like to see Wario get his reveal. Although I doubt they're gonna show any newcomers, it doesn't seem likely considering how little of time would have passed since the last batch of newcomers.

Well now I feel silly spending 10 minutes to come up with a funny Mischief Makers joke to find out that's what you meant the whole time.

Though now the more I think of it, the more I see the unlikelihood of it, thus the more I'd like to see it happen.

I'm not standing out. This isn't weird at all.

I have two theories, and they both involved making Goemon be more EDGY.

(although a Stand-wielding Ebisumaru from the latter vid could probably work in the main series if he could summon his beloved DEAN-SAMA)
