This might be a day one buy for me, to be honest.Although that $60 price tag is a bit high, if you ask me.
I did a full preorder back in October when it was still slated for November.Good thing because this is right after Dark Souls 3 and Bravely Second.

I've done worse, I've tried to IRC on my Wii U before. That went as well as you would've expected without flash :V
Strangest I did was used a Dreamcast browser to get online using dial-up out of a hotel room so wifey could check something for a concert. Obviously, this was a long ass time ago.
I wish I could say I browsed the Internet on the original DS using the browser cartridge, but I don't get to tell great stories like that

Ouch @ the Star Fox Zero review scores. Its gettling a lot of 7/10Not bad but also not up to Nintendo's usually higher standards.Someone should also describe the developers how texture filtering works.

Bah, does anyone trust video games journalism sites these days? I don't. Not ever since the whole fiasco with Gamergate. That pretty much broke any sense of trust I have with them forever. Is the game any good?
Game reviews are usually based on the reviewers ability/inability to play a game well. well in Nintendo's case, the games are reviewed by comparing how close/far a new game is to a game that came out in the 90sIf you play the game as Star Fox Zero and not Star Fox 64, it's good.
from whatI read on teh reviews they were either: 9/10 the game is good, you can play all the sidequests to have more fun 7/10 the game is like previous games, the content is small , I did not play the sidequests, also the plot does not has any minority undertones.
The biggest complaint I'm hearing is they don't feel the game should warrant a full price for a few hours of run-through gameplay.I disagree, going in with the mindset of "it's an arcade-like title". Unlike Adventure games, Arcade games are more condensed and meant for a more frequent replay-ability. Anyone can beat Star Fox 64 if they were just playing through it, getting all those medals and a high score to unlock more features is a complete different story.
Unfortunately, many arcade styled games are reviewed by people who do not play it with an arcade mindset. It's too bad. I really enjoy arcade styled games.
the "full price" aspect also needs to consider star fox guardconsider this: for 60 dollars you get star fox zero (72 on metacritic) and star fox guard (74 on metacritic). for 60 dollars you get 146 metacritic points. not many games can claim this. nintendo wins once again
Here's the full version of that animated short, and it's actually pretty damn good.I appreciate the use of the Star Fox 64 dialogue during the combat scenes.
