Following a Big Bos`s request, i decided to put some of my ideas on Human`s Seth. I had a lot of fun editing this char. One day, if someone make Seth`s running sprites let me know and i`ll update this patch.

ALL CREDITS TO HUMAN THE CREATOR OF THIS CHAR AND CHUCHORYU THE CREATOR OF THE SPRITES.

Gameplay:


seth`s changelog

- EX spin kicks velset reduced by x=20 (before was 30);
- Added wall jump;
- Added SFIV teleport sipinnig pilediver;
- Added a new sprite for pilediver finish;
- Now EX pilediver and normal pilediver are two different versions;
- Fixed the Dodge counter atack punch bug;
- Removed get power from all of the EX moves;
- Added some new voices;
- Added Yoga Teleport;
- Fixed Tanden stream CMD. Added triggerall = power >= 3000;
- Added special finish by Mr.Infinite;
- Added missing required sprites (5040,0,20);
- Added dodge animation;
- Added parry animation;
- Fixed Shoryuken Debug flood;
- Removed Kung Fu man's  sprites;
- Added Afterimages in all of the EX moves;
- Changed Tanden stream supermove;
- Added Zero Counter Anim;
- Added level 1 and level 2 tanden storm;
- Added level 1 and level 2 tanten tornado.

This is the perfect Seth, bug fixed and nice Teleport animation. Will you split TE special for 3 affact distance in the next update?

Here's my feedback:
-Why is there a Seth SFIV folder inside of his Seth SFIV folder? >:(
-Why not put the changelist inside of his entirely unmodified readme?
-I don't think he should have pushback during Spin Kicks in the corner.
-Why no sounds during Yoga Teleport? Not even the annoying laugh or anything. :(
-Tanden Stream and Tanden Typhoon should have their startup quotes switched around.
-No lvl 3 super spark sound?
-Close Z misses up close.
-Spin Kicks misses up close.
-You should be able to juggle into Tanden Stream.
-He's missing noises from Spinning Piledriver. :-\
-He shouldn't be able to cancel from far Z.
That's what I could find from about five minutes' worth of testing. He feels like an unfinished beta, honestly. :-\

Finaly a PotS styled Seth!But needs some missing sounds for Chun li and Zangief moves,
and maybe someone can make Real Shoryuken and Ex Shoryuken sprites(I dont like Tiger Upercut). :P

Does his second ultra move actually work now? I remember with the older version the opponent would get stuck in mid air after being shot out.

EX Tanden Engine also leaves P2 in more hitstun, allowing combos that weren't otherwise possible like EX Tanden Engine--c.HP. It costs an extra piece of meter in source, so you might want to keep that in mind.

EXPiledriver Attempt is quite useless when you play Simul mode.

A separate mode with an SNK moveset would be awesome; it's a shame Human scrapped that idea. You'll just need to get a good spriter for the job.

I think SNK form should have moves from less used characters like SNK's Seth, Heidern etc.  not your standard rugal, geese, kyo, ryo etc.  it's too overdone

Well Capcom's original Seth moveset had mostly the well known moves of the original SF2 cast (Shoryuken, Hyakuretsukyakyu, Sonic Boom, Piledriver, Dhalsim arms) so I'd say using SNK's most well known characters would be best.  Maybe something from Kyo, Iori, Terry, Ryo, Mai and Athena.

True, but I just think it would be pointless seeing as Ryo has moves so similar to Ryu and Ken, thus when he'd be in his ex mode it'd be hardly noticeable ... different sprites ... but that's it ... you know what I mean?

Hm... An alternate move set using SNK characters? That could be interesting...

However, just think about how the moves fit into the playstyle. Find something with decent synergy, rather then throwing in well known moves, without thinking about the synergy they have with each other...

However, if you're wanting him to be a playable tier boss. Be careful which moves you use. We wouldn't want another Necrid. XD

What if he was like Neo Geegus (minus the physical transformations) where he would have a mix of characters, that change the move depending on the strength of the button pressed? Mind you, that may be a bit much, so maybe just giving him moves on unused commands (like charged moves) may solve some of this, or making certain EX attacks behave differently.

If an SNK mode is implemented I'd like to see something like Iori/Kyo's command grabs implemented

For when the next update,  and please if you can add the second and third shoryuken, Chuchoryu was offered to make the sprites of second shoryuken, and I found that less and mid shouryuken can use infinite.

Thanks! I'll try to fix it. I dont know if this char have other things to fix because most part of human's code remais untouched, not edited by me. If you find more bugs let me know and i'll try to fix. About the sprites of second and trhird shoryuken, last week i spoke about this with chuchoryu and told to him that maybe i could help him with theese new sprites. But i failed... I tried many times but i did not make theese sprites. Sorry but my sprite skills are very limited. Again i'll talk about this with chuchoryu. He is a good spriter and he can do it!

you know how I converted lots of sprites into character pallete?

First I took someone's Urien, made pallete to make him be just like Seth's, saved the sprites as new pallete and inserted into indexed PCX file, after that just edited head and removed pants. You can do the same with custom sprites too.

About the sprites i used this method but the complete shoryuken requires some new sprites that i cannot do even with the frankspriting. This move needs some new sprites i guess...

Thank you my friend for bring this awesome version of Seth to Mugen! I`ll try to keep intact your codes and only hunt and fix eventual bugs.

Not so terrible ... you just need to rise his arm a bit and turn  the image 20° to left, then you can make the third hit whit the first (you have to fix his legs because Shoryuken rises the same side of the body, right new looks more like Tiger Upercut ... :P) adding a spin motion ...man thats gonna be awesome, good luck 4 you Mr. JKA.  :beamgoi:

front hand looks goofy, but shows more less how that second shoryu hit looks.

I like what I'm seeing in this thread.

I know this usually isn't suggested just like that, but ... have you guys considered trying to ask Balthazar or Diepod for this edit? They're both great at lineart in reasonably similar styles.

With clean muscle/pose lineart anybody could do shading for it, and it shouldn't turn out to be too hard.

Im glad to see that you fixed this character, I was considering doing this myself one day, but you just made me skip the fixing and just have fun playing it.

you know how I converted lots of sprites into character pallete?

First I took someone's Urien, made pallete to make him be just like Seth's, saved the sprites as new pallete and inserted into indexed PCX file, after that just edited head and removed pants. You can do the same with custom sprites too.

I don't look bad  the sprite of second shoryuken, perhaps only need fix the arm of impact, more straightened, for all the rest is ok.

Not yet. I dont want to make a comission for now, but this is a good idea. About the second hit, another good model is mr.karate's shoryuken.
