I'm new to mugen and just getting around to using forums again.

Since I'm new I have a few questions. Which characters aren't in mugen/ haven't been made yet? Is this place dead cause I noticed a a lack of activity?

as for my self, I'm good with phtotoshop and a bunch of other programs.

Really? People are posting everyday and you noticed a lack of activity? Ok.

As for the "Which characters aren't in mugen/ haven't been made yet?" question, mugen has been around since 1999 and a massive amount of characters have been made. Naming the ones that haven't, would be impossible. Now if you were specific and asked something like "Which street fighter character or which spongebob character" hasn't been made, I'm sure someone could mention one.

Well. what about star fox. I really don't want to make sprites that are already around. I just riped cyborg off of teen titans battle blitz.

Hello My name is Devin Waddell AKA the Mysterious warrior I actually got into mugen when I was in my early twentys.  I like Video games... Music and Art and talking to people.  I'm not a programmer but I do have some neat Ideas for characters in mugen but I'm a newbie and would appresiate if someone was nice enough to show me how to do all of this so that I can make a good character for Mugen.  I have a really high intrest in mugen and want to learn everything about it! :)

You should read the docs that come with the engine as a starting point if you are genuinely interested in programming.  Good luck.

Hello everybody!! My name is Diego del Solar, alias Shackhal. I begin my story in MUGEN 1 1/2 years ago when, surfing the internet, i found a videogame with a lot of characters from several popular games. I was shock and excited about it, because i havent heared of it, and started to search.

Right now i know the basics (installing chars, screenpacks, stages, etc) but i want to give to the community something from my own (chars, stages and stuff) in MUGEN 1.0,  but i dont know what tools i can use to create it and the understanding of the cmd and cns (the coding part). So i'll begin this journey and i hope for your help.

Anyways, I have no idea about character coding, and I have some mediocre skills with spriting...so I think I'll just look around for fun and maybe contribute or something... :sugoi:

i have known about MUGEN for sometime and decided to get into it due to the lack fighting games not coming out.
i love fighting games. i am try to build a few characters and see where it goes from there
