stages 2 for 1 get em while there hot

2 stages for young/alpha ryu and ken contrasting one another
RYU - a peaceful running waterfall  at the mouth of the oni fang cave inspired by assassins fist, street fighter victory theme music
KEN - a roaring crowd surrounding a star spangled ring at the north american martial arts championship, sf4 ken music

These are some sick stages. I would suggest for that Young Cody's stage to extend the side of the top of the buildings so they stick out  and don't look so flat. Great job using the foreground on that one as well. Sagat's stage is epic. I love how the Buddist statue is summerged. Genius. A reflection of the statue in the water would be cool.  Honorable mentkns would be Haggers office, Haggars gym,  Gen's stage, Akuma and Honda.

I've tested 3 of your stages. Here's some feedback bro.

Adon's Turf
-Delete the velocity, tile and tilespacing in the .def, they're unnecessary since it's one large sprite
-Once you delete that, adjust the boundhigh to 210 or below.
Akuma's Turf
-adjust the code on that makes the characters shake. Imo it goes up and down a little to much to fast.
Balrog's Turf
-adjust the parallax so the characters don't look like their sliding. I checked out the .sff and see that you're using a floor sprite that isn't already angled. That's cool. You may try wanna using 'width" instead of xscale in the .def file. I'm not sure if it will help you, but I find it easier. The xscale may produce the more visually appealing sprite. I suggest tweaking the values you already have and if it doesn't work, then try the "width = x,y" code.  For floors make the x value close to or equal to half the y value. For ceilings, vise versa.

Floor example width = 120, 240
Ceiling example width = 240,120

I'll try to test some more. Any questions I'll do my best to answer. Hope this helps bro.

yes I agree with Vegaz on this one as well and also you need to touch up the bound high and bound low  camera setting as for each of the stages




and pretty most of them are like this . You Just need to work on them a bot more and put a bit more attention for them :D

Your ideas and Stage Designs are amazing! I just have some problems with some floors. The black floors/zoom need a little fixing, I wish for you to fix them. I really would love to use all of them, but without these fixes, it's a bit hard.

-open your kfm.cns
-find [Movement]
         airjump.num = 1
-Change it to 9999

Now you can use kfm to test your boundhigh.

-Adjust boundhigh
-Adjust x-deltas of the two punks so they don't slide as you walk. They should be the same as the floor actually.
Cody's Turf
-Adjust boundhigh
Eagle's Turf
-Adjust Boundhigh
-Adjust water x-delta. It moves to fast imo when you walk by.
-Remove the stray pixel at the top/middle of the stage.
Evil Ryu's Turf
-Put the tree in front of the clouds.
Feilong's Turf
-Adjust boundhigh.
-lower the lights in the foreground
Lee's Turf
-Turn of the tile on the sprite
-Adjust Boundhigh
Retsu's Turf
-turn of that tile
Rose's Turf
-Adjust floor x-delta
-Adjist fog X and y delta so fog moves with floor.

thanks for all the feedback vegaz, i'm very happy you responded to my request for a review, solid...

hey everyone sorry about the problems,
please keep in mind i have only been playing mugen for about 11 months and doing stages for 3 with no previous experience,
and i tend to just poke at things in hopes to figure out how they work, that being said, i think i am improving and
i will look into these problems, hopefully sooner than later and hopefully make my stages  better
and more uniformed in the process (maybe 2 set sizes one for extra long stages)
,anybody have any ideas about good dimensions? or what the max bounds are?  i do like a big stages if you haven't noticed
i also tend to focus more on sprite work i honestly thought my biggest problem lately was stages with high H deltas to fit the length,
i personally  have not noticed high or low bound issuses  most likely because
i don't use zoom and because of the abnormal reso and video size i  do use,
(picking good reso and fast speed over screen size because i run mugen off a laptop and hdmi to a large tv)
maybe i will ask hloader if i can release a copy of the screen pack i edited form his hd sfa3,
with a custom portrait/selects/win quote pack for about 70 street fighter/final fight/slammasters characters, would anyone be interested in that??

please keep in mind Dame d  is my first attempt at a character,
he is in his very early stages of development, and mostly just an labrat for me to learn

No prob, bro. You're doing fine. You've managed to implement a lot of cool stuff early on in your "mugen career." Reminds me of myself actually. I think that's why I'm so interested in your work is because our style and tastes are similar. It's a coincidence that you are working on a screenpack. I threw together an edited screenpack using   Toxics SFA1 screenpack and your Street Fighter Omegaturbo image in your first post. I have no plans of releasing it. I just wanted a screenpack where I could put your stages and enjoy them in a full game format. Yours looks like it might be pretty sick. You gonna release it?

id love to release something with a full game format
that would cover the events from SF1 to Alpha  to street fighter 2
with a new space between SFA3 and SF2 for a mix of SF3 final fight, rival schools, some slam masters and secret characters maybe even a darkstalker or 2

order = 1 = sf1
order = 2 = young sagat
order = 3 = alpha
order = 4 = omega
order = 5 = sf2
order = 6 = balrog
order = 7 = vega
order = 8 = sagat
order = 9 = bison

with stages, lifebars, portrait sets (selects/ports/quotes/supers), music and even intro/endings
pretty much everything but the characters
the concept i've been working towards is kinda a final alpha game with over the top vs style gameplay

thats where the name 0megaturb0 comes from
omega being the end of alpha or even zer0 mega turbo
the turbo is just for kicks poking fun at all the street fighter 2 versions
or i could call it
super ultra street fighter alpha 2 maximum hyper turbo championship gold edition

Let me know if I understood well, Thrasher (aka Damn.d) will be a full character or a cameo in your stages? personally is my second favorite bad guy of all Final Fights :P
