Rose(sfa4 project)I started her a couple of weeks ago, haven't made much progress other than standing basics done. My mini team have been sorting out the lifebars, screenpack, and training stage and I've been coding the bars and sorting out my homepage lol hopefully I'll get back on track soon.Rose will have the new system of 3 power levels, Dizzy and guard break. Here are some screenies: those bars are a work in progress not finished everything on them yet, powerbar & rage bar will be at the bottom

Nice. Will you try to add some glow on the scarf during her attacks. Would be nice with the hitsparks and all.

Her Rage Ultra has been thought up a while ago, wether it includes what you asked in your question you'll have to wait and see

Finally, a female character from you, lol.She's looking good, and the lifebars really fit the game. And maybe an idea for a rage move is make her strangle the enemy with that scarf (or whatever you call it) of hers.
Update:-All basics done-Intro done-Reflect light version doneThe stage will be the official sfa4 training stage, it looks plain at the moment because its a wip - glow type lazers were added but I removed them for the update screenshots - Thanks to Ryon for taking on the stage.There will be a special training menu where you can check damage, combo damage, highest combo, stun ect. (just like in sf4)It will only be available on the training stage. Nice to see that you're creating Rose. I personally think this will be the best one because they aren't many good SFA conversions of her. Can't wait to see more.

Its interesting how you managed to get the reflect done using the same hadouken sprites, was this hard coded into Rose (i.e does here SFF contain the sprites) ? Or is there another way to do it ??
Reflect is easy. Yup I included Ryu's hadouken in her .sff. She will have every projectile throwing character (in the game's) projectile sprites so she can successfully reflect the exact one back....well its not technically the same one In short: p2's projectile gets overriden using hitoverride when it makes contact with the helpers blue clsn then the helper sends back a projectile of its own around the point and position p2's projectile ends so it creates the illusion of being reflected.Wether I release Rose out of game or not I'm still deciding if that's the case I will have to send back a projectile that looks the same for everyone. (prob a purple&green coloured one)
Okay, makes sense then. Wanted to use that same idea with the cvs2 rose sprites, but to find the time...plus I've got dudley almost complete.Best of luck with the project. I would have kept it full game, but we'll all wait and see

Ok guys I need some suggestions:I'm kinda confused what I should do regarding Soul Illusion super, because each character will have Custom Combo system implemented, so that move seems to have lost its purpose in my opinion... So what should I do ?... remove custom combo system ?....Or keep it and not bother with Soul Illusion ?....Or keep both ?
Well, if all chars have custom combo, I don't see why Rose would still need Soul Illusion, as the move would be useless.Yun lost his Genei Jin super when going from SF3 to CVS2, so you might want to remove Soul Illusion and try to make up a new super for her.Just my two cents.
But they are 2 different moves! they do look similar and work in a similar way, but Soul Illusion is much more powerfull!
I know it's just someones opinion but in one of the FAQ's it says:"Her Soul Illusion super has lost ALL of its effectiveness. But we'll learn that A3 Rose doesn't require A2 Rose's strengths in order to win."Further quote"As mentioned in the introduction, Rose's Soul Illusion has lost its most powerful purpose in Alpha 3. It no longer does insane amounts of blocked damage like in Alpha 2. It no longer does any damage, period! "" It's only useful for breaking your opponent's guard meter."
All supers ALL levels done now. (obviously haven't done soul illusion)I've decided, untill lots of people protest , to keep out soul illusion and give her just the custom combo. I'll take your idea Cybaster and possibly create something new for her. (being a new game and all, it makes sense)

Yo, been working on Rose again while I wait for my Rage animation to be sprited:Seeing as I decided to remove soul illusion because of her having Custom Combo, I decided to give her a new super..Very similar to soul satellite from rose's 2nd ultra in super street fighter 4, but I changed things slightly. There are 3 soul orbs that orbit around rose infront and behind, but move from top to bottom, I placed them deliberately, one can hit high, one low and one for anti air/crossup (well the one that hits high can be for anti air too)....This super will be lvl 3 onlyYou can use it in combo's to inflict pretty decent damage if you know rose's combos. Video soon..
oooooooooooh I see Well, that's WATERMELON ADON! lol, I built Rose over Adon's .sff and lazily I haven't got around to adding in the falling animation yet - so it shows Adon using Rose's palette.
Video time again... Full gameplay video this time. Her new super is called "Soul Orbit" and in the video I show some pretty decent combos you can do with it. (while messing up alot of combos XD) The super orbs can be cancelled by projectiles as well as cancel them too..Although the quality is better than last time, something happened to the fps lol When the orbs hit theres some screenflash and shake but it didn't show up in the video very well but at 3:02 it kinda does. The start of the video is a little low in fps but during the mid part when the supers start it goes all smooth which is weird.Also "soul spark" sound is missing from lvl 2 and lvl 3 of aura soul spark I still gotta add those.Watch it all! lolhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6qGRd4j63Y

Rage Time...Thanks sky79 for the custom anim you rock dude.
