There is someone "porting" Mugen to Dreamcast.
I can't see how this could be useful, thanks to the Ram amount of DC, but...

This is an experimental MUGEN port to Dreamcast, so all glitches, false behaviours and other uncanny stuff happening with the characters/stages are not the original creators' fault, but rather reflect this experimental status.

RAM issues are a big concern, that's true. There's some compression and virtual memory stuff going on to alleviate the problem, but it's still kinda problematic. For those who are interested, I touch upon a lot of technical issues in a post on dreamcast-talk here: https://dreamcast-talk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3320&start=130#p103204

Ultimately you do these kinda things for the love of the sport though, at least partially. The Dreamcast is the ultimate fighter console, so it's kinda weird that there's hardly any fighter homebrew stuff on it. The newly released Breakers and the original Dolmexica are the only ones that come to mind.

Ah, before I forget, the trailer kinda ignored it, but it's also a HTML5 port (since my engine is a DC/Windows/HTML5 engine), so it also means web Mugen. I'm not sure if that already exists and/or would be interesting. I only know about I.K.E.M.E.N. honestly, I'm a bit out of the loop.

Anyway, thanks for sharing the demo/trailer! I had originally planned to post about it here at a later time once I had more stuff to present and could give a better estimate on what works and what doesn't. If anything cool comes up, I'll make sure to share it here as well!
