why not use both test 1 and 2. like a 2nd round stage would result to test 2 with increased difficulty perhaps... kinda like Abyss style with 3 stages but MG-Rex only 2 stages.
I agree with Testuga. How about making test 1 the round 1 option and then when the play defeats it, it sorta falls back, gets up, and jumps behind the barrier that could be there and you would fight test 2 for the remaining rounds?
Yeah, I know that would be awesome and all (MORE=BETTER!), but I don't want to make Marco work so much, as to have to pull off twice the sprites and also ... we'd have to come up with twice the coding and gameplay / AI options

being like Abyss
Yeah, the idea I was going for since always was Boss Character like Apocalypse.
Abyss was a clusterfuck in concept, and that's what allowed him to have 3 forms and be all over the place. Also, Onslaught had this trick where he could throw minions towards you .... but REX is a giant Robot without minions, more along the vein of Apocalypse. So he'll be more static, relying on all kinds of trickery to destroy you (EXCEPT STEPPING ON YOU!)
