I've been looking forever for a knight/paladin character that I could use in a fantasy game I'm making.  I never really found anything that was suitable.  So I made this guy.  The suit of armor sprites are from Night Slashers, and the face is from Killing Blade.  Thanks to Demon Lord for the coding and BonusJZ for the armor sprites.  I had to add his face into each suit of armor sprite.

If anyone else was needing a character like this, I hope it helps out.

just quick feedbacks:
- Kfm is everywhere in your files  o_O
- some sprites required are missing
- lot of debug flood (not a problem but sometimes the char freeze)
- some weird effects on the supers.
- crouching animation looks weird too
- no sounds for the "fireball sword"?
- clsn must be improved
- no movelist and thanks
- big portrait looks weird IMO
- small portrait is one of the "knight of the round" knight... ;P

do you plan some update, because this char could be cool and better. Maybe an alpha.
And i really like the ideas of your supers. So hope it will be fixed  ;)

Based on this vid it looks like he can do way too much damage too fast.

Hey Nico,

Thanks for the quick feedback.  I'll do my best, there were no sprites for crouching, I had to frankensprite it.  And how much can a guy in a suit of armor crouch?  I'm certainly open to suggestion.

I'd love help with the big portrait if you'd like.

Good catch on the fireball sword, when I test it in Fighter Factory is sounds like he's hitting.  That's easy to fix luckily.

Gill,  I can tone down the damage.  If you have him fight against Mike Obrecht's Death Adder he still loses most of the time though.  Or against Binho's Gillius.  So that was a tough judgement call to make.

He looks good. LOVED that action figure as a child..  I wish there was a mugen char for his archenemy Warduke and his horse..

Looks pretty interesting, but from what I could see in the video, it looks like the damage is pretty high.

Gill, go compare this sprite to a sprite from Death Adder.  I added bat wings to his helmet, leg armor to his right leg and spikes, and his chest piece and lots of other edits.  In your rush to criticize you didn't take the time to analyze.

Yeah the resemblance is uncanny.... A few minor edits and the sprites look really close.... Shield might need to change though as it really resembles death Adder's. Though shoulder needs more of an up rather than a curve.

Also Feedback:

- Infinite priority on every attack. WRONG.
- Sword projectile is indestructible? Uh WRONG.
- One of his forward kicks has really weird hitboxes that lets you kick the person a few feet away.
- He is invincible during his whole animating in the sword throw.
- Damage too high in specials.

Overall, your Lich was waaay better than this.

His super attacks, if they connect, can take a little less than half of your health away, from what I noticed. That really should be toned down.

I've converted Strongheart's sprites to look closer to the toy/cartoon, along with Warduke, Elkhorn and Kelek for an OPENBor game.  I'm slowly adding them to MUGEN, but since MUGEN requires a lot more sprites, Strongheart is the only one close to finished.

Here's how they look (in OPENBor):
