so hey, it's been a while since i posted on here. i'm still workin on this, here's some new junk



we got 4 new chars and an experimental new trial mode, thanks to ikemen's whole being open source thing. pls give it a try and leave me ur thoughts and feedback. thanks!

NOTE: Patching unavailable, system files were changed to allow for new options
OTHER NOTE: do not replace config with an older ikemen ones!! game may not work, since new details were added

Okay, what is a Lilithena? Also, I have a bit of a suggestion for Lilith: while both supers work differently, it kinda feels repetitive to have both Mirage Blade and Splendor Love, since they're both anti-air attacks. You could try and do a super projectile maybe, nothing with giant range, since its not Lilith's thing, but something unique that fits her.

Don't quite think a new super like that is necessary. Having those two supers gives her a way to get a full 3-way super cancel. Tons o' supers in the SFEX games were like that. Plus, Mirage Blade isn't really as much of an anti-air as it is a forwards moving reversal kinda thing. It also gives her a way to incorporate a Guard Breaker mixup, since it's mostly grounded.

Yamori, i just wanted to thank you about the Button configuration, it was a mess when i tried to configurate it myself, the gameplay is solid and the concept is good, my only complain would be the AI, anything else is exquisite.

Uhhhhh roster's been kinda all over the place. Kinda just think of who to add on the fly, depending on how much I would like to see them. Though at the least, I do have a very vague plan of who's higher priority for nearer updates.

Great stuff, downloading right now.

EDIT: Okay, quick notes after some rounds:

1-In team mode the power bar vanish if you lose, I don't know if its intentional but doesn't feels right.
2-Being able to cancel specials into EXs attacks feels a bit too much imo.
3-Do you plan on add tag mode?

Also I really liked the trial mode, nice touch.

The gameplay so far is really addicting and smooth, really curious to see where this project goes, great sutff.

That's an ikemen bug that i've been trying to squash for a long time now. Unfortunately, it's all written in .ssz so that's proving to be quite a task :CC

It should be noted that these moves (i call em ES, like vsav's) are differentiated from EX since they cost a full bar but they have more benefits, the most important being usually allowing you to make a full juggle combo. This is indeed what I based the game around. I feel it gives the game it's own unique style.
