Can anyone tell me how to modify how sensitive/the threshold for zoom is?

Like, how far from the center the characters have to be for the game to zoom out in a stage.

In some stages, the threshold is so low that the stage is already zoomed out from their starting positions.

Any help would be much appreciated, as googling this did nothing.
