Hello everyone
After a long time away here at MFG, I return here to bring the newest version of Dragon BallZ vs One Piece game, developed by DBZvsOP team, friends who have decided to take part of this journey with me.
The game does not have all the chars, but these have seen as we have been concluding and making available to you, as if it were a DLC, as well as new stages, balancing among other novelties.
The game has 12 chars, a little less than the previous version, because the whole system has been changed, the most significant is the buttons, that of 6 became 4, being the z button to assist and ec to change , making it much easier to play. In addition, new hits and chars that were not in the previous version, in addition to new stages, counting on exclusive 3D stages developed by Jafar, one of them an unpublished, the West city coming straight from DBFZ that you find in the stages folder.


The chars available in this version are:
Goku
Vegeta
Gohan
Bardock
Freeza (Boss)
Cell (Boss)
Luffy
Ace
Jinbei
Crocodile
Blackbeard (Boss)
Doflamingo (Boss)
And we already have the next DLC chars, which will be Akainu, Broly (who will also be bosses), Zoro and Trunks, the latter different from their first version, will be available soon here in the MFG and the future official website of the project that is still under development.



BASIC SYSTEM

Arrows = move the char

A = Light Kick
S = Strong Kick
D = Partner Change/Quick Change ( Quick Change turn to partner during a combo, requires 1/5 powerbar )
Q = Light punch
W = Strong punch
E = Partner Assist
Enter= Taunt

BASIC MOVES

D+strong Punch = Launcher
D, DF, F + Strong Punch + Strong Kick = Hyper Move Assist (Need 3 powerbars ) ( can do during a Hyper move, need 1 power bar )
FF/BB = Foward Dash/Back Dash ( can do with 2xPunch Button + foward or back ) ( AIR OK )
Super Jump = D,U ( can do wit 2Xkick button and after Launcer move )

Here you also find the Hi-res version of the previous Demo developed by Ramon Garcia and Yolomate, thank you for having dedicated to creating this exclusive version.

Oh man this is very SWEEET! I love how you added some nostalgic bliss to this!

Huh, been actually wanting to do something for this little funny game for a while, still time for it?

Also, yes, this is the best use of these sprites, sounds good, looks good and plays good.

I finished the game, played and test, my opinion about the game is this:
All is perfect the unique thing that i don't like was 2 things:
Why change the chars to only 4 buttons??? i really don't like this. This type of chars is much better with 6 buttons.
Please come back again with 6 buttons.
And the AI of many chars is much intensive, i can not get breath in arcade mode, if possible reduce this a little or do a patch with less AI comands.

Anyway the unique thing that really need be changed is the 4 buttons to 6 buttons again.
Please friend Kenshiro99 do this, if possible.
Because you got famous with your commissioned jobs and public chars in Stilo MVC who always have 6 buttons.  :help:

It's responses like this that can make that game idea a nonexistant paradox karl_eichholtz_13 . Best learn to make a game yourself for Mugen.
Anywho, I really dig this prototype, esp how it has that MVC charm. I hope the next updates are just as awesome!

First I get people constantly requesting stuff and then people telling me theyd prefer another game altogether, now this shit?


Are you guys seriously that spoiled? I'm already done with mugen as a whole but for fuck sake if this is the respect kenshiro and I get for everything then I'm glad I'm done. People like you guys make it not worth doing anything for.

Walruslui we all love this project, the only thing that caught some people by surprise was just the exchange of 6 buttons for 4 buttons, we expected only small changes like for example the change of lifebar, more wonderful characters like the ones that were released in this new version, the only thing that the people really were surprised was only with the change of 6 buttons for 4 buttons, only that and some people are just expressing this surprise that was not expected I think for many, but taking only this detail the game is perfect, a true masterpiece.
Please do not give up on the project and understand that we are only leaving comments in our opinion, and since I am a fan and client of Kenshiro99 he will also understand that it is only our opinion about this little detail of the system change of buttons and that we continue loving this project that until today was one of the best ever made for mugen.
And in the end the boss is you who are doing the project we are just the lucky ones who have the honor of being able to play this very well made work for mugen.
I sincerely hope that you will understand that we have the right to just leave our opinion in the comments without any kind of repression occurring, because we live in a world where we must respect the adverse opinions of other people.
And again I repeat that I am so fan of this project that I spent a whole year editing the first demo of the game for Hi-res = filtered sprites. And I would never want to see this project stop because of some adverse opinions.

I' done with mugen as a whole really, it's no longer fun for me to play or develop for or anything. This was something I decided on before that post so apologies if it came out like I was saying those guys are ruining the updates, they're not. Me leaving the mugen scene was always planned on my part and I decided that after this project launched I guess it would be a good time to just move on to something better.

I didn't make a huge "goodbye" post or anything because I felt it wasnt needed. But don't worry, the game isn't done, only I am for the most part. Kenshiro99 has some real cool stuff cooking up that you guys would love for sure.

After this post I'll be leaving the forum for good more or less, though I will release some stuff that i finished awhile ago eventually. Other than those things, consider me finished.

I can not explain why so much dilemma with the control of 4 buttons ... the characters have a very high gameplay and that's the important thing, even if they use only 2, as long as they are strong!

this is legit why we cant have nice things. if you dont like something move on, dont tell ppl who work hard for no pay or compensation that they should redo their whole game because you dont like "A" "B" or "C".

Speaking as a fan of 6 button chars the change really didn't alter my experience and think the game is WELL polished. Alot of love and labor went into this and i thank everyone who had a part in making it

Well... That´s slowed some... but i feelings that Kenshiro99 that less people isn´t hard test even.

Think we/me again: Are there rule which say that if begin 6 buttons+taunt that must use full game then (?) No?
if makers feelings at that take too much time at left off.
Or too much memory(?)... well... what that is now days?

Everything is a matter of adaptation, I assure you that it is better, both in the gameplay and for me to work.

Ok, so I'm fine with the game 4 button and all, but here's a question I want to ask. If the characters and updates were to be released outside the full game, will they still be 4 buttons? I'm sure if someone tries to take the files out and put them in their own personal client, there would be some issues with compatibility and stuff. I can see the reason why the full game is 4 buttons as it's for the purpose of tag team, but I'm not sure if it would work outside the full game as not every single character would have the Uno Tag Team Patcher applied already.
I will still do detail and aesthetic feedback for the rest.

This is a forum and is open for free discussion. People can ask whatever questions they want as long as they on-topic and follow the rules. If you have a problem with that, then take it up with the mods. I ain't going to argue with you.

I respect kenshiro's decision on the matter, but if you're going to keep attacking me and many others just because they asked simple questions, then idk what to tell you.

Because he was making fun of me a while back regarding RicePigeon. I didn't report that earlier because it was just a small issue and one of the other mods and RicePigeon resolved it already. Even if I did, he'll tell me to "stop" as it feels like I'm trying to intentionally write a trick question. Plus, I don't know which group he was directing that "spoiled" comment to, but that feels uncalled for and that's why I thought he was attacking people. The two who complained about the 4 buttons deserves it, but not the ones who appreciate the project like myself. Sorry, I promise it won't happen again.
I will still do detail and aesthetic feedback for the rest.

Thank you kenshiro99 and Walruslui for your hard work. I gotta say this is by far the most achievement Mugen game I ever played. Happy new year still for both of you and Walruslui
 I wish you for the best my dude, what's done is done and now it is time to move on, you will be missed man :) .

OOOOOKAAAAAY! I just joined late as ever...

I just want to say even though the changes are hard to get use to, it is REALLY incredible to play this, in fact, I am still waiting for the next update so I can stream it. There is no way anyone should cry about controls being simplistic. Please don't give up on this. This is actually one of the best full MUGEN games I played to date. If I didn't knew any better I would've thought this was an actual fighter.

If I made this game and went with 4 buttons, it would use Marvel vs. Capcom 3's control scheme.

Light>Medium>Heavy and Special (Launcher) since that's easier to manage.
