I know HD is supported, I mean, what size should things be so they fit on screen properly, with positioning and all that?EDIT: What I mean is, does a character have to be HR to have an HR portrait?

As for Suave in action.......it may be closer than you think........ SUAVE DUDE ANNOUNCED. ONLINE GAMING HINTED. OVERLOAD OF WIN. 4 8 15 16 23 42 EXECUTE... NOT COMPUTING.Boom! Are not you glad I refused to work on that other project for the meanwhile ?
Taurus La' Force said, September 23, 2009, 12:37:37 amMy feedback to elecbyte if possible to make a converter for stages and character to automatic change values and more to the old creations. To work with the new mugen. Example like (dos2win02) !Quote•To update a character from 2002.04.14 to 1.0, add 1 to the value of the P1 parameter of all HitDef pausetimes. Then set mugenversion = 1.0 in the player's def file. That is very easy to make. Thing is we have to get to know the new file formats first, and many things will probably be fixed in between versions, so let's not rush into fixing our collections choosing an engine here.[E], go offer your body and soul to Elecbyte, NOW! I bet they could use a coder that's linked to the community.
Twisted Oz said, September 23, 2009, 12:40:53 amUhhhh.... So elecbyte's back.I feel kind of like I work for NASA. I've been in space for about about a month and when I get back I find out that Jesus returned and I've arrived right in the middle of the rapture.I suppose I'll have to check this out. What else is new? Lol, that's a nice analogy. Anyways, while the win quotes thing isn't huge, for some reason I'm really looking forward to taking advantage of that.
QuoteWhat I mean is, does a character have to be HR to have an HR portrait? That I don't know. But none of the docs that I have read have listed and change in how the lifebar system works.
:oOH MY F***ING GAWD. Tommorow after school I'm trying out this new MUGENI hope the EVE screenpack will work with this.
the question bugging me is: Should i continue with whatever projects i had going or just wait until they actually release a more stable mugen and work towards making my projects compatible with that? im kinda at a station here wondering whether to wait for the next train or get on the one in front of me :/
Well I'm still making Rouga the old-fashioned way but throwing in some features that the new MUGEN has (mostly miniscule shit like winquotes). In general, the way it looks at the moment, if you were working on something the old way and you want it like that, you can pretty much go ahead and do it, as there's not a whole lot to update. And now you have an opportunity to try new stuff if you feel like it!And it actually feels a lot more stable than the HR hack. It's just that I can't use my PSX controller the way I used to *shakes fist furiously*

The whole 'transition' thingy will sort it out itself, eventually. Keep your old MUGEN for now, and here's just hoping the next RCs get bugfixes and optimizations, not features.
This <link> was apparently not a community joke after all.Bane84 said, September 22, 2009, 12:13:23 pmLooks like all of these MUGEN clone projects will probably end up closing their doors...I can still see sakir plugging away at it. He invested alot of time and energy just to give it up.
Good to see MUGEN getting a new version. But when I try to start it, it ends up crashing. Oh well...LOL.

Shockdingo said, September 23, 2009, 12:56:40 amAnyways, while the win quotes thing isn't huge, for some reason I'm really looking forward to taking advantage of that.It actually is a big deal. Unless you used pictures of win quotes embedded into your SFF, you had to use workarounds to change anything. I wrote a program that inserted sctrls into the compatible characters.
GOOD!Yes, what at first seemed like a very bad joke, now turns to be the truth!Altough, since Megaman 9, there's nothing I don't believe.
