I took a month off, came back and fixed the bug plaguing my Mu1.1 beam code clip detection.Liang-Barsky line clipping in Mugen is go! I may have a couple tweaks in order, and need to double check straight line intersections, then adding the beam radius/thickness. But it works beautifully.Red target marker is where an invisible helper with the hit box will be drawn. Yellow will be used as the fail over. I should be able to do any kind if straight beam with minimal effort, whether the size, angle, head or tail positions changes, etc. Also gives me no worries on hitting the mugen helper limit, or worry about local coords, or drawing hundreds of hit boxes.
Cell's sprites are far along, easily enough to make a mugen character, but just not enough to make my mugen character. I need to do more basics/specials and walk cycle sprites so his different stances have some meaning to them. I might start on him after I finish my EB conversions but that'll be after Trunkz and moving 16/Garlic/Krillin to the new commonFX standard my characters are using(hopefully will only take a couple days each). The main sheet though is by GokuThePower, so if you are interested in them you may want to reach out to him.Getting the new BeamSys and CommonFX (and by association Trunkz 2.0) is my main focus for now. If/when I decide to do a beam demo using the code from the screens above, I'll show off one of Cell's Energy/Ki/Range/Alien Stance Supers as a first real showing of him I guess. I'll probably throw up a big WIP thread too for everything I'm doing.

It's been a while since I heard from him here.Good progress. Will you make a tutorial about that? Maybe a topic in the Tips, Tricks and Tutorials to code that stuff. It looks and sounds complicated.
Definitely, I just want to get a good looking beam example or two before I say v1.0 of the code is done. The theoretical v2 would incorporate a beam struggle addition but I don't even want to think of that right now, in fact I dont even want to think at all right now!
