New Bie: How long to create a char in Mugen?

Hi,

Can advice as topic heading the likes of,
1. SNK style char
2. SF style char (CvsS: Chaos style)
3. Cartoony (Marvel vs Capcom style)

With basic moveset of ard 10 special moves per char?

Depends on you, how fast can you code, your experience. can take
days, weeks or years lol.

Delete your other topic you did with the same question the option
should be somewhere in the bottom of the screen.

How abt a coder, solo, who only started coding 5 weeks ago n is learning by downloading n editing existing chars?
Assuming sprites are mostly edits of extracted sprites.

Hmm... lets put it in another manner: how long do the professional or experienced coders/creators take to develop a char as above list?

P.s: not sure if i delete the right one, my engllish not good

I mean the experienced guys here like to take their time and make characters play well, so id say most experienced coders here can take around 3-6 months, but honestly it depends on the char to, like z2 creators spend around a year on a char because they have to sprite the char themselves and also code them.

Z2 creatorS <= saw the "s" so there are "team" creators as well?

Hmm 1 year for original sprites and 3 to 6 mths for even the best of mugen coders... on a single char...

At least i will have a good idea where i sit and what i should be aiming for in a  char creation.

I will have to do this like a hobby (and i am currently enjoying the coding process anyway) and see what i can pick up. Hopefully 1 day i can contribute to the community :^)

1 last qns: who would be the top few coders or reknowned experienced mugen coders thus far? So i can search for their topics/posts to learn what i can learn from their experiences to sped up my learning.

A piece of advice, don't worry yourself or concern about time developing a character. No one gives a shit if you are taking one month or one year for making a character.
You have to focus on enjoying the development and learning.
