it's an impolite attitude to talk about people's language, that's rude.
-
Sooo... Whats supposed to be discussed here?

anything after you're impolite to consider your english better than mine.
-
This will sound douchey but I'm legitimately curious...
How can your english be worse than mine if you're a native speaker!?
-
the thread was about another thing.

It could be because he's an immigrant to Australia and English is not his native tongue.
-
commenting about the someone's english is an unnecessary thing and impolite.
-
tongue = it's a part of human body
the right word is "language".
Wrong.
A first language, native language or mother/father/parent tongue (also known as arterial language or L1), is a language that a person has been exposed to from birth[1] or within the critical period. In some countries, the term native language or mother tongue refers to the language of one's ethnic group rather than one's first language.[2] Children brought up speaking more than one language can have more than one native language, and be bilingual or multilingual. By contrast, a second language is any language that one speaks other than one's first language.
-
Native "tongue" is used to replace "language" in this context, I guess.
I've heard & read that expression several times before. Even used it myself. But what do I know, I'm german...
Most germans even would deny or lie about the fact that we are taught English in school & when listening to some of my friends trying to squeeze out some english sentences, you'd just drop laughing...
But anybody - besides the native speakers - comes across troubles with a language they learn "on the fly". Usually that doesn't include the grammar...
Or do you tell people who are not too familiar with your language, how to conjugate the causative verb, instead of trying to understand their question?
I don't. ;)
EDIT: Dang! YugaCurry beat me to it.

the people need to be polite, you don't need comment everything you think, because sometimes it can be offensive.

if people point out something, the absolute worst thing to do is to call them out on it and try to argue when you clearly do not know what you are talking about, and then proceeding to say everyone else is derailing the thread, when you made it worse by trying to challenge everyone all because one guy asked a simple question.
you could have avoided it but now you edited the entire OP by removing the entire original point of the thread, to make it seem like it was everyone else's fault, which essentially is wasting everyone's time in itself.
stop being like this, anytime you get caught or someone proves a point to you, you always edit your original posts to remove everything. it's a very cowardly tactic.
btw it's also very clear english is not your first language. i do not believe for a second that you are a native especially when before you pulled that stunt of pretending to be a japanese man from before. just honestly clarifying that you don't speak it as your first language would have avoided this whole thing but nope. here we are.

Seconded; I mean if you want to be an asshole you can just ignore the guy doing the corrections, it's more effective and it does not derail the topic.

I honestly hate this phrase. A lame excuse to be a jerk to others.
Still, amazing how this topic underwent a massive derailment.

Can someone explain to me the context of this thread?
-
Originally, it was supposed to be a question about the possibilities of more MvC special assist characters being made as playables. Unfortunately, things twisted itself into this little mishap of a thread.
-
There was no question tho, he was just blogposting about MvC assist characters being a thing on MUGEN, I just asked the question because the thread wouldn't go anywhere anyway, but kinda regret now after seeing how poorly he reacted and how much attention he attracted to it.
