I guess materials would count too.Cel-shading (toon shading) I would guess is a pretty popular alternative to dot art if Guilty Gear Xrd (among other anime-influenced games) are any indication. That's the kind of look I'm going for for both Mugen and EF-12 First image red color, second image is supposed to resemble skin.Must keep it brief since I have to be on the run, but manipulating the materials and lighting a certain way allows for a look similar to anime. The only thing I did was use a photo editor to reduce the colors on the lighted area, which was easy since the shaded area and outline only consisted of one color.Hopefully I can show an example with characters in the near future.
So much for that.Hardly anything big, but I finally learned how to map textures in Blender Cycles. Why did I put it off for so long idk.
