Thanks Senorfro for the palettes but I there index seems to have been messed up, I don't know if it might have been photobucket changing them maybe uploading them on imgur might work better.

Dang, it's been awhile since I've done this.  I'm using Paint, as I don't have access to Photoshop currently, so that might be the issue.  I'll try imgur, though

Hey Senorfro, Yeah they are still messed up, Paint will mess up an index. Photoshop is better for keeping an index but fighter factory 3 palette editor is the easiest.

back to mary, will her DP follow up be an always juggle like in kof 97 ?

Right now I have it limited to the part of the animation where the attack clsn are out and a p2bodydist x, I might change because it does make it almost impossible to cancel into the juggle follow up if you hit on anywhere towards the end of the active frames.

I wonder if kawaks still runs on winows 10, it was very easy to make those tests there. I will try it eventually as my main interest regarding the follow up is in the early frames to do those catch after grab tricks.

Blue mary's dp follow up is a juggle zero move (damn, writing this makes me feel nostalgia); other examples of zero juggle follow ups are kof2k1 kula hcf+D and oswald's ldm; juggle 0 moves are rare and usually only last one game then get taken off because they can lend themselves to abuse. Arguably mary's is the only one that has (kind of) made a return, mostly because it's higher risk, as it requires to input two dps in a row in a fairly fast pace and if you mess up you can end up wide open.In some cases (like when it is used as a dm follow up) it's even a trade off , because the oponent can safe fall/roll to avoid being grabbed, but mary can instead go for the arm grab.

This is a TAS, in a real fight it's not that easy to do that stuff in reality.

After watching a bit of those two videos you can see it has some bugs, those are kof97 juggle system specific bugs (that are present in more characters not just mary) where some moves reset the juggle counter (terry's infinite power charge is the most infamous example ); taking that bug off mary's dp grab follow up still should be able to hit airborne oponents regardless of juggle points, but should not be able to reset the juggle counter. IIRC, the way it came back in kofXI was by having it only work after the DM, but it also kind of works in kof2k1, but instead of being her dp follow up, the one that has zero juggle properties here is her 2xQCF + Kick DM (it has a raging demo style input in kof2k1).

It can be a challenge to find a balance since there were changes every year, I would think.  Also, wasn't Mary stupid good in '97?

I don't know about giving a dp 0 juggle properties just doesn't seem like a good idea, I don't mind giving the dm QCFx2+K (Mary Dynamite Swing) 0 juggle properties
