tldr; Hyper Training doesn't actually change your IVs, it only changes your stats to act as if you had max IVs.

In other words, you can now have Hidden Power Fire without having an imperfect speed stat.

IVs are one step closer to being phased out entirely

Though... speaking of Megas..... Apparently they have Pokedex entries now. And they're not too pretty.... Makes me feel kinda bad for even using them to be honest.

To be fair, must of those entries are from pokémon that already look pretty aggressive (with the exception of Kangaskhan, maybe).
If there were any of them like those for Audino or Gardevoir, thing would be way different.

You mean the heart-shaped emotion horn isn't red from gouging out trainers who embrace them, as the Pokedex implies they do? Is the shiny one orange because it goes for the eyes?

Mega Aerodactyl just is so amusingly contradictory to the whole "They're not pets, they're friends!" message. Twisting and contorting them to drip out ever drop of power you can get if how to be a real Pokemon champion!

Then again, they've been suggesting breeding to perfection since gen 2, so it's still par for course.

Eh, Pokedex entries have always been super fucked up if you actually take the time to think about them. Wasn't Cubone's original entry in RBY something like "It wears the skull of its dead mother as a helmet and cries itself to sleep every night." Shit's brutal.

So the rumor mill is a-churning once again. According to reports the third game this gen, Pokemon Stars, is being developed for the Switch, and not 3DS.
