Well it's not a landslide, but majority so far is "low res". I'm affraid the higher resolution will clash too much with the vast majority of Mugen's Low Res Roster :S ... so this satisfies me.

In any case, modeler will make some motion/resolution tests, and I'll wait for him to get back to me. If you wanna see more about this amazing Marco fellow, here's his info:

why not use both test 1 and 2..


like a 2nd round stage would result to test 2 with increased difficulty perhaps... kinda like Abyss style with 3 stages but MG-Rex only 2 stages.

all are amazing tho. good luck with whichever u decide

...Yes they all look good but Test 1 differs to the rest in size comparison.

Test 2 and 3 look good together because of size resemblance.

I trust whichever you go with really will turn out to be a quality product...i am sincerely psyched about this project like you don't even know.

Can't wait to see what more will develop.

I agree with Testuga. How about making test 1 the round 1 option and then when the play defeats it, it sorta falls back, gets up, and jumps behind the barrier that could be there and you would fight test 2 for the remaining rounds?
Whichever you choose this is awesome.

1st: can be used in any stage, and as a char;
2nd: I would see it more like a boss-type character; it would need also its stage and a platform where the characters that has to fight it stands;
3rd: like the second.

From the screenshots I see pink pixels a bit everywhere (in the outlines).

I have an idea for one of its attacks. It could shoot many missiles up into the air which come raining down, there could be some sort of bulls-eye on the ground to tell the player where the missiles will land and explode.

I'd rather see MGR as a boss character, thus 2 and 3 are more appropriate.

They could even work both in the same character.
2 for when the player is more or less in the center of the screen.
3 when the player is on the side of the screen.
This would simulate MGR turning to face his opponent. However, this may take a little too much space in the SFF, not sure.

Yeah! This is exactly what I already had in mind :beam:
Actually, I want to make the "Destroy the Radome" a key part to the strategy to defeat REX. So probably the AI will be spamming long ranged missiles a lot, so your objective will be to destroy the damn radar for it to stop targeting you.

Then the startegy should shift to actually hitting the head (again, like Apocalypse). When you're below REX's head, the AI should shift the strategy to attack you with the lasers, and probably bites or something. I need to replay the games :S

If he can he should use a transparent background. Otherwise, like I said before, some pink pixels will still be in the outline.

I don't think you've been following the thread closely. I've mentioned these are mock ups several times. The model isn't even colored yet, so everything about the screenshots you see is irrelevant and "wrong". They're not even real "MUGEN Screenshots"

We're making tests here, don't get your panties in a bunch ::)
