Hello there,
So I'm gonna share what I'm doing those COVID-19 days.
What I'm showing here is already coded.
Soon the templates will be ready as I'll add an overlay in the portraits.
Low config PC friendly I think. You'll tell me if it's ok.

Here I'm using 2 animations done by Hungry Wolf. They will be or not in the final release if he gives me his blessing to use them.

Main Menu: Custom display of... I don't know what yet.

No blur.

So of course some of the things will change. But right now it's playable already. ;)

Another possibility would be to do 1000 or so handmades and train an AI to do the same. Maybe results could be interesting. :)

Hey guys.
So I'm gonna work my ass on 1St Strike CVS Mugen screenpack by Veolf (Shadowvector), released 4 years ago.

His work is amazing and it deserves way more light and support. Thanks for this SP!

Of course it's absolutely crazy about the amount of work needed for portraits. So of course I'm gonna try to do it!
I'm only testing things right now and it'll take a lot of time for sure.

Of course I'll work on full sets of portraits, slowly with time!

Versus Portrait of Alex (just a preview, you can't use it now):

Ingame:

I have to redo it, it's not centered correctly.

- I have to find another way to crop the portrait because portrait overlap a black line and I don't like it at all...
- It's a little bit blurry because of 0.33,0.33 scaling setting... But I will not be able to redo all the template for something like this, it's too... Too much.
- I also think that the versus cursor isn't coded and appears in the picture.. So everyone will have to put the same character at the same place?

It's a lot of things that need to be taken into consideration. Should I do it? Do you guys have interest in it or Should I wait a new SP?

Older people dies right now because they are more weak than everyone else, but yes indeed everyone can be infected.
We will have mutation, Byakko. RNA viruses have high mutations rates, because it does not involve DNA pol enzyme that is able to correct mistakes from retrotranscriptions (the biologist is speaking here xD).
So basically what I personally fear is that all the stupid people acting like retards are in fact new chances for the virus to roll the dice and get a new mutation that will increase his dangerosity. Of course everything is random, so it could happen or... not.

So for me, the situation of governments planning to more or less infect 70% of populations but delayed in time is stupid. This is just for economical reasons first, second nothing shows that the number of beds in hospital will be enough (we only have 2000 in belgium for example...), and third it does NOT take into consideration this mutation issue. AT ALL.
Stay at home, if possible do not go to work. Get food for 2 weeks.

Your work is amazing. I just can't stop thinking about custom portraits, for small and big..; And custom stage selection between the 2 big portraits.

I'm in Belgium. They closed all school yesterday until 3 april. I'm a teacher so I don't really know what will happen..
To be honest what I fear (as a biologist first) is that a new mutation arise, something more dangerous. If you read carefully about reports, 2 viral strains are already know (and in china they discovered 149 mutations already). So... Basically the more the people will be infected, the more the likelyhood of it to happen will increase.
That's not something we should have fun with, even here in Europe. In Italy it's urgent to block virus progression aand it's the same here in Belgium.
