You see before that we had KOF series mechanic hodgepodge crouching while running characters that are named *character*UM because their HSDM uses the super background from The King of Fighters 2002 Ultimate Match.

We also had "The_None style" characters that are like, that style means not even trying to code things well and memes right? They still show up every april fools and then.

Then before that we had KOFXI characters that were KOF series mechanic hodgepodge crouching while running characters but they're KOFXI because they can super cancel and dream cancel. With no skill gauge for that extra layer of accuracy!

Then there's the "CVS 2" characters that were take character slap on Capcom vs SNK 2 hitsparks and call it a day.

Finally, the oldest fad that stays true to our hearts are the make a Reu's Evil Ken and Evil Ryu inspired character or make your character have AI that can beat Evil Ken and Evil Ryu even if you have to resort to having "anti-cheap features".

We had people making things for fun. Not any general pretext. Not because it was popular(lol jab), but because they enjoyed it. Now apparently sophiscated coding and specific character archetypes are mandated. Unless... Of course you are "popular" than you are kinda exempt from it. Change a few things here & there get your own style. Because yeah we can't have similar interests.. Too easy. I guess it all makes sense though seeing as majority do it for the fun of the code and not "personally" playing/enjoying their works.

Well I agree with Rei and I want to state that I'm not calling it POTS Style or whatever its just the way POTS coded most of his characters CVS2 feeling but not the same,great looking effects and easy to have fun.If you know how to code your stuff and gameplay you can always do your own or edit characters.It's not hard to recode or add different mechanics to seperate character from getting called as ''POTS Style or just completely code yourself from scratch.

Noone because the people that do P.o.t.S style(with very few exceptions) don't even know how to do it right.

^ that kinda goes along with the whole "popular" thing. Though even they make mistakes, but because they have renown as I said exempt. That's kinda the reason for ending that name, there will always be that constant comparison. I already said this before.. All of the people (who for the most part) have dabbled in anything cvs2 related know their shit. Sure some better than others, but aye who is competing to be the best coder besides the ancients.

I would like the concept of "complaining about PotS style" to be made into a PotS style character, so I can beat it up. You know, get a real Chuck Tingle/Pounded in the Butt by My Book "Pounded in the Butt by My Book 'Pounded in the Butt by My Own Butt'" kinda thing going on.

cuz I'm sick to death hearing those complaints every goddamn time the subject of PotS style comes up!

Anyway, a character that i always want to see in this style, whataver if Jmorph, DW or someone else that made chars in this style (and did very well), it's Clark Still.
