A few days ago, someone in the Spanish forum suggested using Ghidra to get Mugen's source code by reverse engineering.

I don't know if it is entirely possible, but today I did some quick tests and apparently some results are obtained.

Yes, I am still working on Vega. The CS is over 90%, and I've included Splendid Claw (a lot of frankensprite xD), CvS2 based hitboxes, fixes, etc.

However, due to the quarantine in my country, I am locked up at home with only the internet of my cell phone, so I am not uploading anything for now. Perhaps a new update will be up for the beginning of May.

His hitboxes are a bit too chunky the standing one is super wide.
The EX moves look identical to the normal ones  for the charge moves on the punch buttons I would increase the speed as well.
Im not a Vega player and whatnot and barely know the char however I would suggest making the ex moves worth spending the bar for.

- Hitboxes are based on rei's Vega, except Bloody High Claw, Remove Claw and Mask, EX versions of Sky-High Claw,  knee hit of EX Flying Barcelona moves. Hitboxes for this moves are based on USFIV.

- EX moves have more damage than the normals, EX Flying Barcelona moves have a knee hit which could be chained in a combo with the rest of the move.

New feedback:
1. I can't seem to Super Cancel into Scarlet Mirage, yet I can cancel into the MAX version just fine.
2. His Slams (e.g. Rainbow Suplex and the Rolling Izuna Drops) don't use the right Sound. 820,2 in Jmorphman's Guile for example is the correct sound.
3. Bloody High Claw doesn't work well with 1.1 Stages with Zoom. https://streamable.com/dc9lg I'd suggest having P2 fall back down again for the state after being hit by the knee to prevent what's shown.


1. Cancels, combos, and other features based on .cmd file are not implemented yet.
2. I'm going to review it.
3. Interesting. What char and stage did you use? I'm going to review it too, along with the other feedbacks.

Wow, it seems a lot of people don't like the USFIV voice of Vega xD.
Maybe I will release some patch for the voice (fourth option in the poll), but it will not be a priority for now.

Suggestions:
- Edit the cage priority, becuase the Level 3 Port appears behind it, or vice versa.
- Add a Level 1 Cage Barcelona Special, if you wanna keep it to "s" I'd suggest making the Level 2 come out if you hold s before the superpause.
- Add more pause-time to the Red Impact finish, and maybe add an echo-ish sound, like what I did here:

Edit:
- He's missing the startup dash sound when he runs.
- Bloody High Claw could do with a lil' extra damage.
- The Super Finish text isn't centered well at certain points.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions, I will consider for the next update.

However:

1 - I don't plan add a level 1 for the supermoves from the cage.
In SFA3, they were level 3 only, and I would have to add more commands for that too.
2 - I will see what I can do with the Red Impact move, but I don't think I can do much more. In the original games it was a quick move, simpler than "dramatic" xD

Will you add this move too?

I plan add the Splendid Claw move, but it will take time, since I have to edit the sprites.

I really appreciate the work you did, and I think it's a good idea. However, I can not apply it, for two reasons:

1. "Midnight Bliss Top" uses only 4 colors, there is a color in the template that is not being used.

2. I must apply any change in the template also to the sprite pack, since I plan to launch it as a resource for other authors. That is, I should reindex the almost one thousand sprites that I have now, and it is very tedious.

The only feedback I have is that MAX Scarlet Mirage only does 2 Flips and the Stand Strong Punch only does 1 hit.
The Red Impact should probably have a stronger hit sound aswell if you can find one.
I feel like Splendid Claw (which you have planned) would be good as a Level 3, he'd have too many LVL2s if not.


- MAX Scarlet Mirage is based on the level 2 version of rei's cvsbalrog. I think the Falcon Rapper version does two flips, maybe I can adapt his attack to my version.

-This is supposed to be so, that attack should not hit more than once.

- I'll see what I can do, maybe I can turn up the volume or something.

- I think the same, I forgot to update that in the file "Readme.txt".

I find it weird that the Midnight Bliss sprite have a glove separation, but not a top separation...

Those Midnight Bliss sprites are based on the SvC version, where Vega uses a glove on that hand. When I adapted the colors to my version, I was not sure how to color that part, so I thought "bah, it's just three colors", and I left it that way
