I don't really know yet. Yes, he made some decent stages but, I don't think he should get it this time. When he releases another decent stage I'll probably change my mind.

Master Yoda said, February 10, 2010, 04:12:08 amhis stages are nice! but he only released two!for me, not at the moment! -1i only released 2 when i got contrib stat... so how does it really work here?? is it because of the amount of work done, the number of work released, the contribution in any form, the fact that someone with a Voice in MFG stated you should get it??

There are people who make 1 project and get contrib status and I've seen someone who released four characters not get one. Sometimes I understand why that user gets there contrib status in one release. But, sometimes I'm like "He only made 1 stage... Pretty unfair if you ask me".Still, noone can be consistent in there choices and opinions so, I'm not that annoyed about it.Oh, and I think stagecreators should have to work harder for there contrib status. Making characters is a lot harder and longer while a stage only takes a day at the minimum and 2 weeks at the maximum.
The way it works is by having people vote on their prefernces on that perticular person and their creations/other stuff its not the amount nor the creation could be feedback as well.
Seems like being an active, helpful member of the community plays an important role in the process.Who would vote for someone who will never be here, or someone that they think is annoying?Combine quality of releases with forum relations.
Quality > quantity. That's how I vote.If a guy releases a single quality stage, which I may add in my Mugen, then his contribution is worth more than a guy who popped out 10 shitty stages that not even him will use.Which brings me to :http://mugenguild.com/forumx/index.php?action=profile;user=sirspinecrackerNew CastleVania SotN stage kicks ass !

And like Shamrock [User] OZ said, acitvity too.Oh and +1.
If the person who pops out 20 subpar creations a year would sit down and create something even half decent, the contributor star would be all but theirs.Quantity is the last thing I'm worried about when it comes to the mugen community. PS: Shamrock?
