WTF? Terry in FEXL?! That's unexpected. However, this is not the first time that Terry has been crossover in a fighting game. Anyone remembers Xuan Dou Zhi Wang (King of Combat)? A Chinese fighting game with KOF wannabes fighters, then there's Terry Bogard along with Benimaru.

Terry Bogard? wow, last year was Geese Howard announced in Tekken 7 and this year is Terry Bogard :mlol: I was expecting Gouki though since Gouki dislike Shadowgeist and there might be a rivalry between them

Aye! That's what's up. It is unexpected, but a welcome surprise. Looking forward to when this all comes together. I like Sharon's new design. I like how Arika is going the extra mile to show their appreciation for the fans support. It's been a long time coming, but I'm really happy to see the Arika fighters make a comeback. The EX series was one of my faves.

Honestly, I've only played the actual FL game like, 3 times. I'm sure that if all goes well, they'll drop a few of them in there, but... The EX chars are the more recognizable/beloved chars. It makes sense for them to put the priority on those chars, along with the guest appearance with Terry for some added hype. Though Hayate isn't a FL char...? I don't remember him in any of the EX games.

I know his supers in FEXL are basically Garuda's LV3 broken up into 3 separate supers. Though I really don't remember him from any EX game.

The Hayate in fexl is the modern day descendant of the Hayate in ex2. Ex2 Hayate was an old school samurai in a kimono with straight long hair and a bandana.
He was in ex2, but not in arcade ex2+, but then back in console ex2+alpha.

Oh yeah lol. Thanks for the reminder. I remember him now, though barely ever used him. EX2+a was the one with the most chars right? With Cycloid a/b and all that crazy stuff. I'm pretty sure that is my 2nd fave one. It had Evil Ryu and Akuma too...? I like EX3 the best though and played that one the most. I guess it's due to his radical redesign that I didn't remember him. Though it's not actually him, though rather a descendant as you say.

I got mixed up, +a was just for the first EX game. There was an EX2+ on arcade and also EX2+ on console but the console version had Hayate. Evil Ryu and Gouki were in EX+a, but in EX2, Gouki was dead. EX3 cleared away a few things.
