I’d expect no less from you. This person means which author did you base it on. I.E Is it a patch for a specific version of a character. You should post your Cammy, maybe you could take some pointers from FeLo.

- @Fanime: His question is, which author does this CS works for...mugen 1.0 is the engine, but the author he's speaking about, is the coder of the character.

Ahhh...I see. You know, I'm not a fan of SFZ sprites since they look a bit fat IMHO. The case for the DOLLs is terrible, since those muscle pads makes them to look like American football players. Also, our friend here did a good work overall. Maybe some mistakes in the boots, but that's a minor thing. Looking those sprites in movement, makes me think on Dampir's take on Juli.
Also, my heart is divided. I prefer SF4 take on Cammy rather than SFV, specially for converting the sprites. I don't know why, but when I convert something from SFV, the result is fat soooo wider compared to SF4.

SFV proportions are alot more defined, detailed and exaggerated compared to 4's so that's probably the reason why

Yes, I know...but that distortions does not happens with, for example, Juri. And also, you can convert Urien to SF3 or even CvS without so much problem. But the same problem with Cammy happens with Chun Li, Ryu/Ken and some others. Maybe, as you said, the overexagerated stuff, but this seems to be noticeable in certain characters.

EDIT 2: Here's one of SGV's inconsistencies: (http://i64.tinypic.com/o5vm6v.jpg) This animation was directly ported to something similar to CvS size. I just traced in black outlines and a flat colour on it and then added details to it. No extra resize was done(I mean, certain parts or etc), so maybe things like these, bugs me.
The SF4 pose comes directly from resizing to a screen size similar to a CvS capture, while the SFV too...but the result is pretty different. SFV is bulkier. Not saying the result is bad(it's quite good, indeed), but lacks something that makes it fit in a CvS styled sprite...I don't know how to express it, but it's similar to Chun Li's SFZ to CvS port. They resized her for CvS1 but clashed too much with the rest of the cast(strangely, this did not happen with Killer Bee)

Post some screenshots, don’t just leave it blank. Show exactly what you did. You also did the glove separation right? As well as whatever custom sprites you did. Everything you put in the title. Show off the costume possibilities etc. Just a tip, if you want to get someone interested sell it more.

I did want to bring attention to this thread for him. I see no point in you, the artists busting ass making these sprites for them to just sit there. I understand being critical of oneself, but you could always go back and make changes later that’s how you get stuck and end up doing nothing. If I could afford a cvs sprite for every character I would, but have to use what’s available. I need those SFV normals she gained. If I could sprite on that same level man.. Use my thread to talk about it, I’m definitely interested in this kind of discussion.

That's exactly why I put it in spoiler, for not derailing a lot. And thus, Fanime could see other Cammys for taking notes for, for exemple, improving the boots. Not saying his work is bad(on the contrary, is pretty good), just gave my opinion about SFZ sprites AND this work seems similar to Dampir takes on Juli. Just that.
