DA origins, has multiple races and genders option you can start the game with, each with different dedicated storylines, you can answer/ acts differently on events that would bring different relation or outcome of the situation (same with DA2) although in Origins your character doesn't have voice actor since there are plenty of characters you can play with probably recording voice actor for each race+ gender storyline would be a huge voice library. Origins has a wide map various cities to explore while DA2 you're stuck in somekind of slum island. in Origins, you can dress each of your team mate differently, change their armor, weapon, etc. in DA2 you can only dress your main character. in Origins you can sculpt your character much better than in DA2. DA2 has more seamless team combo than DA origins, DA2 has more/ farther angle for the camera than Origins. But everything else, memorable characters and all, I prefer Origins. and also being in the role of Grey Warden gave me more dutifulness .. to finish the game and kill the Dragon,  it is like being a crow in Game of Thrones.

Loran yeah, it's weird to have him say that stuff in a Dynasty Warriors game. I assume they're just taking straight quotes from the show, where it actually made sense; there weren't a lot of battles in the series he came from and most of them ended in draws or at least without casualties. I can't really remember a time he intentionally killed anyone, even. Still, better than Kira from Gundam SEED, who does shout about pacifism while blowing up hundreds of mobile suits at a time.

Gym isn't Loran's commander, he's also from the moon but he's the head of his own faction, and is the final boss of the show.

Laura Rolla was an elaborate disguise for Loran that was used because reasons, and also because the director of the show wanted a female protagonist and the higher-ups said no (so he made Loran dress up as a girl a lot, and I know how crazy that sounds).

Those butterfly wings are nanomachines, and also they destroyed the world before.
