Alright chaps, by now you know there isn't a proper Z2 character without having an accompanying graphic thread
for you, yes YOU, to participate in. For this one, We've decided to keep it simple. For you, that is!
His lordship Freeza will be surrounding himself by his footsoldiers whenever he sees fit,
but will dispose of them just as easy when he is intrigued enough by an opponent and wishes to fight himself.
Soldier may come in more poses, which I'll update in this post later on. But the soldier's head will still fit.
Yes, the heads. You can contribute to Freeza Z2 by providing a footsoldier's head, using one of the included body bases to fit it on.
You will then post your head seperated. You may also wish to go the extra mile and recoloring the body to finish a particular character.
And even though Iced will say you can go nuts, I once more plea you to not contribute TOO silly things.
We've yet to figure out how exactly Freeza will dispose of his footsoldiers; by decapitation or by simply blowing them into pieces.
But let us worry about that. If you have suggestions; don't shy on sharing them. But please keep in mind the extra work required from our side.

If you're gonna do a custom body, wouldn't that mean spriting it for every pose needed in FriezaZ2? I hope that's allowed, it looks pretty sweet.

Its better if you dont edit the body, cuz then whenever we make new frames we would have to prepare specific body sprites for them instead of reusing the same for everyone.

The sprite on it's own is not bad, but the angle should probably be more him looking forward, not towards the screen.

As I said, I edited a sprite someone did of his head which was looking forward and to avoid screwing things up, I copied the way he did his face.
I mean, I've edited the head slightly and moved the eyes so it kinda looks like he's looking towards the other player.
But if I come up with anything new or find a better sprite for his head to look toward at the other player, I'll re-do it.

Not to undermine the fine work being displayed here, but isn't the purpose of this thread to show head/palette swaps for the sake of quick sprites for some soldier grunts? I resisted the temptation to edit the bodies of my Vile and Jagi to better match their original appearances, and it was quite tough. What's the verdict, Balth? :P

The sole purpose of this thread was to make HEADS only, so they'd be easily interchangeble and randomizeble.
But I KNEW it would get out of hand before the second page. I TOLD YOU, ICED YOU BIG DUMMY!
PLEASE, HEADS ONLY, PEOPLE! I ain't editing the bodies of the additional sprites they're getting which I haven't even made yet!

I would say to use only the heads, body edits would be needed for all the poses then and would add work to the creators.
If we edit the bodies to much, that could get the topic out of hand and we would end up adding a giant godzilla sprite or something like that, ssj goku as a cameo contest already.
I would limite the cameos to something that could fit the Frieza army/ soldier / minions / space / scifi / races thing.

I was entertaining the idea of putting together a gatchan head from Dr. Slump, since those guys look kinda alien and that series does share a setting with DB - but today I found there's already a take on those guys in the appropriate spriting style (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=GagcuKWtrr8#t=37s), so that kinda of head would be simple to reuse.
I need to find an alternative to Paint Shop Pro 3 (which doesn't work in Windows 7), and Gimp was looking interesting until it got weird about deleting individual sprites for cleaning an image resize, and I realized it doesn't seem to save in PNG...
Looking into old DB history this guy would also make some sense (http://images.wikia.com/dragonball/images/e/ef/MonsterCarrotDBZAOTSaiyans.png).
