Hi people, I hope you liked my new AF char made in rush time in just one day from scratch (well, not really, I used Cyborg as base). Now seeing which WIP I should continue this time, now taking a rest and keep working on Guild Database for Megaman section (where I get the idea for Napalmman+ the forum theme of this year)... if you liked the char and by petition I can release a patch for nerfing him as well deleting Trump voices, maybe I could make a poll about it :P

Thanks man, I saw you nominated him before me, cool :D yeah, I should continue working on Leonhalt, but there's something in the char that everytime I work on him, the efforts goes away fast and leave on hiatus everytime... maybe I should just release what I have now and then pushed me to continue him more...
Also, sorry for the late answer, I didn't have time these weeks :P

Yes, as the title says ;) Rose has been restarted now with Shuma-Gorath as base for her, so I deleted every POTS reference she had (since the code to the FXs) and now has all basics ready, now starting to make her specials and her SND, this is some of the things she will have:

From previous POTS version:
-All basic moves ready
-Megamix of moves from all games she appears, since Alpha series to USFIV
-Voice of SFIV series as her main one
-And of course, sprites made by Felo Llop
-Compatibility with MUGEN1.0+ (data, winquotes, etc)

From new version:
-Shuma-Gorath as coding base for Rose
-Sparks and sounds from Capcom vs. SNK 2
-A Capcom/SFA more oriented gameplay
-New palettes more based on her past appearances + some cameos/cosplay palettes
-As SG, an alternative SND with her voice from SFA series

There're already 2 moves ready (Soul Spark and Suol Spiral) and 1 on works (Soul Throw, which shares coding right now with SG's Mystic Smash), so I hope to remake and polish those moves, as well finishing her SND and the second part will be done ;)

Hi guys, I want to say a new character is in development and is close to be finished. I hope this time get more attention than Quint and Sniper Joe. The detail is... the new char is one of the ideas I got in this thread. So see the most recent post to get an idea ;)

Well, I got some problems with Snap Sword (Haneyaiba) variants, but I've to finish that to keep advance with Bishamon (or doing it in the end after finish the other supers and stuff), so is in my plans now ;)
What's the issue? Maybe I could help

Well, let me explain you: the katana is a helper that makes the opponent get stuck, so Bishamon can make the variants, my problem is I can't make it work as I want, the helper can get stuck the enemy but nothing more than that. I was basing in the code I made for Joe Kusanagi from AODK (the super where he calls his mook to grab the enemy so Joe can smash him), but it don't work as I expected.

So yeah, I'll need help here after all :P not sure if I explained well, it's confuse even to me, seriously

I know how the move acts in source :p
I was wondering what specific part was giving you issues.

I don't know how you have it coded but try this.

When the sword/ghost (sword for DS1/2 and ghost for 3 I will from now on just say ghost) connects it puts the opponent in the custom state. It also destroys the projectile ghost and creates a new helper ghost where it holds them in place. This should have a unique id.

Now with Bishamon have it so he can only do 1 of 2 actions. Either qcf + p or b+p. When he does qcf+p have him initiate his dashing attack. When it connects it can destroy the helper ghost as he hits the opponent.

With b+p Bishamon will do his pull them to him anim. When this anim begins the ghost should know by using trigger redirect. Have it set p2 into the fly to Bishamon anim and be sure the custom state/anim allows for Bishamon to hit him with his rising sword attack.

The rest of the details should be fairly easy to flesh out.

Does that make sense or would you need assistance?

Indeed, makes sense for me. I managed just this part until now:

I forgot to mention why it needed a unique ID

While the helper with IDx exists Bishamon can then do either of his special commands.

5. Roxy
I got the idea about making a Poison using Dampir' spriteset, but since there're a lot of Poison out there (the last one by DivineWolf is the best), I thought in this other option, since nobody has made her before. Yeah, the moveset probably will be similar than Poison, but will have original stuff and the voice of Rina-chan (got her adult woman voice samples), as well probably will have SFA gameplay (I'll use Eagle Zero as base).
Posted here since I got this idea from time ago, but I didn't start well on her, just ensembling her SFF right now :P
OK, moving to here since she's almost ready to be released!! :D here're some of the stuff she'll have:
-Old Poison spriteset by Dampir, more based on SFIII than CVS (his last update)
-To get the things fast, using SPAN's MVC Poison SFF and working with that
-New AIR, code and palettes, using Eric and Shelly as base for her
-Capcom sparks and sounds, mostly from SFA series
-Voice from SFXT Poison (thanks to QY China's version of her from this game)
-Megamix of Poison moves from past MUGEN adaptations as well from official Capcom ones from SFXT and USFIV

Thanks, i hope to make a good job on her, since there's not much Roxy out there :P

Working on her next moves, as well her supers + I've to fix that SFF because various sprites got some color mismatches, probably tomorrow I can show more of her here ;)

you are forgetting a important detail.

roxy different to poison, has the kepi with a separated color, she´s not like poison blue kepi and blue short.

black kepi and red short.

you could to make roxy with knife attacks and slash kicks different to poison that use the handcuffs, poison kisses and whip attacks.

try to show roxy different to poison,like mature and vice from kof.
