One question, why is it that when that walk back cycle for A17 starts, he gets.. I dunno, bigger?

Just experimentation, I've been playing those old Budokai games lately. Might make concepts for some more characters.

I based it off of K', and now that you mention it, his legs are really long.

I could sketch out the animations and he could clean them up perhaps

I picture 17 as a cocky fighter, not putting too much effort into fighting because he thinks his opponent is weak, does lots of fancy kicks, while showing disrespect as well (see the third kicking sprite) I'll probably write up a moveset later

I get what you're saying but the Z2 chars do some shoutouts to other characters (ie: Super Buu's Twelve intro and Piccolo's Urien attack, for two examples), so it's not TOTALLY out of the question, although some uniqueness would be good too, or at the very least some variations in inspirations (since so far the only shown anims are all based on K'). So for some ideas, Rouga Zanma from Big Bang Beat has some good cocky animations, as does Buntaro from Matrimelee (heck even Olof's kicks might work).

Here's that awaited moveset I thought of. Names are placeholder of course. Should this go into the 17 topic?

Specials:

I'll take your energy! - 17 creates an energy....thing around his palm and can absorb projectiles. Not sure if it should cause a physical hit

Draw! - 17 takes out his gun and shoots at the ground. EX could cause crumple or more hitstun

Are you trying? - 17 strikes a pose, and when hit, he counters with some hard hitting moves.

What a loser! - Command grab; 17 trips the opponent and can follow up with three actions

Outta my face! - 17 takes "kick them when they're down" too literally.
Worm stomp - A swift stomping move. EX could possible cause a ground bounce
Pretty fireworks - 17 blasts the opponent away with ki

Supers:

Power Blitz - Signature fireball. Level 2 version has him toss two instead

Android Barrier - 17 creates a field powerful barrier around himself. Level 2 version would be larger

Photon Flash - Command grab super; 17 shoots at the opponent's feet, then blasts them away with a yellow beam
Something like this

Test Drive - 17 drags the opponent across the screen. After he's done playing, he hops off his victim's body and pelts them with ki blasts. Kinda thinking about having him ride the opponent like a skateboard.

Sadistic Dance - 17 and 18 team up to beat down the opponent.
Finishers ->
Monkey in the middle - 17 and 18 pelt the opponent with continuous ki blasts

Insult to Injury - 18 uses her signature "break Vegeta's arm" kick, and 17 finishes with a Power Blitz as they're knocked away.

You should prolly post this in @likiji123's Android 17 Sprite project page instead, seeing as it has more relevance there than here(this being a sprite thread and all), but I like the ideas for the movelist. You guys should totally collab or something.

Very cool. It reminds of Chamat's 18, but more refined.
These are pretty old, from the beginning of the year, Balthazar and Omega can verify that:




I don't have plans to make it a project yet since I have another Z2 char as a wip (slow but steady, you can guess who it is), I prefer to don't do it alone and I must focus in my commissions.

I love to know that she is a char in DBZEB, I always used her in SSW, I'll save money to buy that game and even if the characters' arsenal and animations can be better that game is what I always wanted.
