I hate the aesthetic style they went for in this pachinko. Their faces are awful, they all look like those highly detailed uncanny valley sex dolls that are sold in sex shops.

This would be so mean. I love that.

Sadly, I have to say that I am not surprised that SNK pulled another pachinko machine instead of a new KOF game.
It is really sad, but that is SNK's current reality. And I am not sure they have the money nor the corporate will to get out of this position and go back into making actual games.

I think they earn more benefits from the Pachinko machines than from Arcade/console sales, hence their business model

the CGI cutscenes got boring very fast, I'm so used to CGI in game trailers only taking a little bit of time. i guess there's nothing to show here besides the sterile CGI.
so will the cutscenes be like a full story? like Dragon's lair.

............ Yes. Well not really, but since the question doesn't make a lot of sense, let's go with yes.
I don't think there are a lot of Pachinkos that play a full story. It's just a pretty sequence that keeps you playing and maybe interacts with your score at key points to make you try harder. I think some like the Saint Seiya ones just play through a video, but in KoF's case, AFAIK it's often just a fake arcade run with your score influencing the result. The "cutscenes" would take the same place as, for instance, the arcade ending of your character after beating the boss - and I guess the enemies change depending on your score. Then it loops so you keep playing. It's not a story.

Stop make money in this way. People (i mean, old SNK fans like me) want a new KOF game, a new Samurai Shodown game, a new Fatal Fury game, not a new Pachinko.
I know that SNK/P make a lot of money with that shit because exist people that still playing this.
But it's sad that SNK/P stay focused on this though.

Didn't KOF12+13 almost make them bankrupt due to all the effort it took to make the sprites
