Zero looks pretty cool, although I would cut out the whole "red and blue" thing and just stick with one color, because... kinda feels homo in a way.

EDIT: Ohshi-, never mind what I said, I just noticed it's supposed to be a magnet armor, but I would at least do something about the red and blue on his crotch.

Animation wise, I just think he needs a quite different air shooting animation, one that he leans a bit more backwards when he's shooting down, so it can look more dynamic, maybe like in MvC3.

Gameplay wise, I love the new hyper combo that's been given to Zero, although I noticed the damage that's done to the opponent seems pretty weak. Just pointing that out. While still talking about that one hyper combo, I was thinking of a way that could differentiate it a bit from the original SvC Chaos hyper. Perhaps instead of teleporting, Zero could quick dash behind the opponent, similar to how he does it in his grab, though I'm not sure if that would be as cool, just an idea.

I can try helping with the animation revision after I'm done with a commission over here, just in case you two need some help.

I'll possibly be kind of slow this week, considering I've been having a computer problem in the last few days that has been kind of a pain on getting my PC working again, and I am feeling slightly paranoid about it happening again out of nowhere (since I kind of lost progress due to this issue). Until then, here's a preview of a commission by davismaximus.



Intended to be the MvC3 idle, will still be animated.

The animation is indeed pretty good. What is it going to be used for? Because I personally think that this would look pretty good for the normal charged shot attack.

I'm not sure if you and JKA considered this, but for the Z-buster hyper, I was thinking the animation for the first two shots could be like in X3:

Your work is good, although the Zatanna sprite highly bothers me, when it comes to anatomy matters. The pose she's doing with her left (our right) leg looks either highly painful, or that her bones broke in there, so I suggest that you make her lower half of the leg stay more to a side view instead. What also gets me is the way her upper body stays compared to her lower body, which doesn't looks like a natural pose, and also looks quite painful. An easy way to fix this is by horizontally reversing her legs. Her fingers on her left (our right) hand does looks very unnatural as well, so I suggest to put them more together.

Basically, all I can read on Batzarro's posts is

He talks like his team did a prodigy exceptional job when all the Unlimited character has is Cyclops sprite edits and things like that. By his mentality, I can totally bitch on Batzarro for editing official sprite work from Capcom and SNK, since he didn't ask for permission (not to mention frankenspriting is one of the things he does the most).

@TheSnackist: The thing is, for Dio's hyper, I'm not sure if it the portrait has to be inside Goku or inside Dio (and same goes for Kakyoin's hyper).

I'm not sure if this will turn out well, but what about using Robert from the SNES AOF? Maybe it has a more fitting sprite resolution.

It's pretty cool that the head is not as round as in your other sprites, although the face does look a bit flat due to not having much shading on it. The hands are also pretty small.

The blue arm look a bit too long, and the head seems a bit too big. Other than that, guess it's fine.

Not bad, but I personally think you should make his stand animation a bit smoother and perhaps slower, so it can have a SFIII animation vibe to it. I also suggest to give his pants a secondary shading (purple-ish), since most of characters have that, if not every.

I personally think his face looks a bit stretched. Taking in consideration this is also Saiki, I think his hair should look a bit more pale. For the boss Saiki, his hair needs a bit of more contrast, and the area around his neck could use some more line detail.
