Annnnnnd Done! After looking again, I see some of my old techniques being displayed in my current sprites that I've done, but I can proudly say that I've improved leaps and bounds.

I'm gonna redownload obs and start streaming again. I've haven't been on a roll like this in quite some time!

Bumperino

Haven't posted here in a while now, so here's all of the CvSage sprites that I've done over the course of... two years up till today?

Established Series characters. The oldest ones are on the top. Some could be polished up a little more, while others still hold up imo.

The newest ones are the next two rows with the Makoto sprite being the most recent one, which I made a few days ago.

Here's the Makoto sprite by itself

And of course my silly little custom characters for a fighting game idea that I have, with a sprite of me as a bonus that I made for my stream layout. All of these were made this year.

I'd appreciate some comments, positive or critique.

Bump. So there's this challenge going on at another forum that's like Inktober, but with sprites. Basically, you make or find a palette of 256 colors, and you use colors from that palette to make your sprites, but after you use one color, you won't be able to use that color anymore for the rest of the month. I thought it was a fun idea, so I'm doing it starting tomorrow. I'll also be taking suggestions on what to sprite, which doesn't limit to just people.

The palette I'll be using:

I'd some suggestions about how I sprite. Here's the style that I currently sprite:

As you can see it's heavily based off of CvS with no true distinction; it's just smaller and prolly less pleasing to the eye. I want to change that, but I'm not sure how since I've sprited like this for quite some time. So I'm gonna try and experiment a little using a sprite that I just made, but didn't shade:

The WIP is on the right. The base colors are just colors from the sprite on the left and aren't final. I want to make sure everything about the sprite in unshaded form looks readable. The main thing Is the face. I'm not sure if it looks good or not. I think everything else looks great, but that may be just me. So, what do I improve? ^^

Finished the face, but I'm stomped on how to to do the rest to make it stand out.
