Final Fantasy VII is either blatanly overrated crap or the best game ever depending on how much you like the cast; it's completely hit or miss. I hate it, not a single likable character.

Love it or hate it. I actually loved it, FF8 on the other hand ... I couldn't play it more than 5 hours.

lost planet: extreme conditions

It got so fucking boring around mission 3 that i cant get myself to play more. I might give it another try later.

Fallout: New Vegas
fuck, i forgot about that.
I f a game cant impress me during the first 5 hours then its not doing a very good job.

Dante's Inferno

Started off fun, then a bunch of retarded puzzles started showing up and I quit around Greed because it just stopped being entertaining.  All shock value, almost zero substance.

Every JRPG game

I try to finish them, but I always end up stopping playing them and try to get back to them after a few months but just lose interest. Most recent example would be Persona 3, and the oldest one would be Chrono Trigger which I've replayed up to 3 times but never gotten to completion and both the Earthbound games. It's either the combat or the filler dungeons or the storylines which turn me off.

On the other hand I've completed every WRPG game I've played (and I've replayed through Vampire The Masquerade : Bloodlines more than 5 times)

DMK/Tempest: sticky-ing (?) this or not is up to you.

Stickied for now as I like the idea, if you don't feel like it fits Tempest feel free to unsticky it.

For myself I stopped dead in Far Cry 2. Near the beginning it was an awesome game, but nearing the end the constant weapon jamming, DRIVING EVERYWHERE, respawning checkpoints and that damn malaria I couldn't bring myself to play another second. Thankfully Crysis 2 was no where near as bad.

Guess that also helps in the game being superior, wish they could get the rights back some how, EA has to the money.

Magna Carta (PS2) : beautiful graphics at the time, wonderful design, but a shitty and boring fighting system on PS2, while it was supposed to be great on PC. A bad fighting system in a RPG just kills it ...

Tekken 5 (PS2) : I've tried playing Tekken several times, and while the characters have charisma and the game is overall nice, I just don't like the gameplay. Damn too slow, and it feels too much like a smashing game (but that's because I don't know how to play :P). Sould Calibur, Virtua Fighter and Dead or Alive are just better games than Tekken to me.

Sonic Adventure DX (PC) : it had been a long time I hadn't played Sonic for the Dreamcast, so I bought the PC version (along with other Sonic games). The gameplay, while not so bad, showed huge camera problems that made me stop playing it after passing the 2 first levels.

I'll say Soul Calibur IV and Naruto: The Broken Bond.
I didn't liked Soul Calibur gameplay, and NBB was easy and boring.
Hell, i don't even use my 360 nor my DS anymore... sometimes i play KOF 2002 UM or MvC3, but that's all.

Dead Space 2 was the last game I stopped playing, not because it's bad, but because I'm a wimp and this game scares the shit out of me lol

Dynasty Warriors 7
Was fine at first, but then you soon realize that any character who uses the same weapon has the same moveset. The story/campaign has decent storytelling but the gameplay and something else just felt off... Or maybe its because I just bought Mount & Blade and been playing hours upon hours on it.

the last game i stopped?

Devil may cry 2
This game, especially compared to the first 2 DMC games, is not that great. It looks fine but the combat isn't nearly as deep and the controls feel sloppy at times. Not to mention the boss fights were not as exciting

On PS3:
Army of Two: The 40th Day
Started playing it, got bored really soon.
Playing it alone is really, really boring.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma
The game feels old, and boring.
I had more fun replaying the old NES games than this one.

What's DMC2?
It doesn't exist those were merely stories meant to scare Action/Adventure Genre Lovers.
