There is something off with it but I cannot put it in words.-The fingers could use some work. Look at your own hand as a reference.And if Maki Kuronami (Name of Youtube account), the person who possibly did this art, I hope you take this into consideration and improve on this, and also look or think twice and ask, "Does this look right?"Which is something I should definitely do too myself, sans my new flavor text.
That kind of thing only happens in hindsight. People improve if they keep working towards it so I don't judge.

I had/have a very harsh critic that became one of my best interweb friends. Dark ages Guild made me be able to accept his harsh criticism otherwise I'm sure I would have gotten upset Criticism is always good but please always get a feel of how the author accepts feedback as well. Tough love is detrimental to a lot of people. I saw a lot of fantastic artists quit because of tough love feedback. Yes they should learn to use any kind of feedback. But with some people (especially younger artists) you have to start off small and work your way up so they can become more comfortable with that form of critic.
yeah, whenever I give feedback to people I never give all the feedback, just tell them about teh biggest things, then depending on their reaction I start getting into more and more detail. i stopped giving feedback for mugen but I still give feedback to people in other contexts (mostly programming).

Yes, be polite about it and only point out the major issues unless you know the author better. If you can give feedback to possibly improve. If not no biggie. Give them positive reinforcement as well.I generally do the sandwich approach.Positive feedbacknegative feedbackpositive feedback
