u guys may find this awkward but i donot have dreams all i have day dreams though no night time dreams though
I had the weirdest nightmare a couple of days agoI was outdoors playing a 4 Player match of DDR with my sisters, my best friend and WTF the Predator. All of a sudden it started getting cloudy and raining, and it turned out that a Tornado was staring to form a couple of blocks away.I tried to warn everyone, but they didn't pay attention to me until de very moment the Tornado was moving towards us and was like 10 yds away. For some reason my brain decided that it's be a good idea to treat the tornado like a lightning ... so the Tornado kinda landed on a random ol lady's head and anywhere she'd move, the vortex of the tornado would follow. She got scared and started running towards me, and I got scared shitless watching stuff flying around over her head in the tornado - I woke up because I was scared the tornado would suck me into it.
Whoa. Also has anyone ever had that dream where they're just falling? I had a dream a few years ago about falling far from the sky face-first into my driveway. Although at a slow yet fast speed like when you jump from a plane in San Andreas. Right before I hit the pavement I woke up.
Jesuszilla said, July 10, 2007, 11:22:04 pmYou always dream. Your brain just won't let you remember them, thus you never "view" the dream.Wrong. Actual scientific evidence has proven it. Specifically, the book I told Smoke about.

Same thing happened to me that happened to Neo, only that I woke up before hitting the ground.

I've always been interested in dreams, and Freud's theories (aka Pseudoscience, the main thing we are taught here) have never satisfied me. I really recommend it, for those interested in the subject:"The scientific study of dreams", by G. William Domhoff. Smoke, I really recommend this one. Seiously. There are alternatives to Freudian/Kleinian/Lacanian theories on dream content analysis. A book that tells you "this kind of dreams means such and such", as in "dreaming with frogs mean you want to screw your mother", is, IMHO, completely missing the point. It is also wrong to claim that all dreams are important messages of your mind. Sometimes, they just should be discarded. Still, I have no dream life of my own. Chapter 6, to be precise.
