..I was thinking of MSH with this game's Infinity Stone and Infinity Storm feature and all.
In MSH, (Save for Thanos.) you can knock off your opponent's Infinity Gems by hitting them with either a special or hyper and get to steal them.
Would it make the game more exciting if a similar feature could be announced/implemented in the future? If not depriving your opponents of their Infinity Stones, maybe either disabling or graying out their IS gauge for a certain amount of time or bringing it down back to zero to turn the tide of the battle into your characters' favor?
A new heavy char is always welcome. But some of the chars from MVC3 made a return to this game. So you can tell that either Zangief or Mike Haggar will make a return some day.
Has anyone thought for a new heavy character in the Capcom side? We had Zangief in MVC 1 and 2, then Alex in TvC and Mike Haggar in MV3. So I guess it's either Zangief or Mike Haggar again.
In case you’ve been living in your moms basement playing Call of Duty for the past 5 years, there is a new Sega Genesis/Mega Drive game on the near horizon by Watermelon Games, creators of the influential Pier Solar. Its name, is PAPRIUM! A true 16-bit beat ’em up inspired by the likes of Streets of Rage and Final Fight. PAPRIUM will receive a physical cartridge release in 2017 on the nearly 30 year old Genesis hardware, but the game looks to go well beyond what its 80s and 90s predecessors have done. For starters, it will be massive. Featuring 24+ levels, dozens of original music tracks, a colossal 80 Megabit cartridge, a co-op mode for 2 player action and an enhancement chip called the “DATENMEISTER” which “unlocks the true potential of the Mega Drive.”
Call of Duty, Battlefield, StarCraft, Farming Simulator and Warhammer are but a few of the established videogames series that animal rights organisation PETA has complained about over the years. It now seems Tekken can join that list too.
While Tekken 7 landed in Japan over two years ago, the seventh main series entry to Bandai Namco's esteemed fight 'em up—the first to feature on PC—is due this June on western shores. When it arrives, it'll come minus Roger Jr—the boxing kangaroo who replaced his similarly disciplined reptilian family friend Alex from Tekken 5 onward.
Speaking to VG24/7 at a press event, executive producer Katsuhiro Harada explained why this is.
"There was a video of a man’s dog being headlocked by a kangaroo, and he punched it in the face. It turned into a big problem," says Harada. "People were complaining about him punching a kangaroo. It seems that in the last few years there’s a lot more animal activists—even though they probably wouldn’t play our game they would still hear about that, about a kangaroo in our game being punched, and would complain about it."
Despite the fact Roger Jr's fighting macropod father Roger has featured in the Tekken series since its second '96 outing, Kuma the bear will appear in Tekken 7 all the same as it is "obviously stronger than a human being", so suggests Harada.
Tekken 7 is due on PC on June 2, 2017, and will come with 38 playable fighters despite Roger Jr's removal.

Much like Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Infinite features four major attack buttons, although they’re two punches and two kicks rather than the non-specific “light, medium, heavy, special” of 3. The L button is reserved for the Infinity Stones, and the R button tags. But there’s more control simplification, including the slaughtering of a sacred cow that some would say was long overdue to be turned into sacred hamburger.
It’s a lot of fun to pull off a combo that sends one’s opponent up into the air in a Marvel game, and Infinite simplifies that little bit of joy—you can pull off a short ground-to-air combo (that ends with a super move, if the requisite meter is available) just by tapping light punch.
The developers are also playing around with replacing the shoryuken motion—the forward, down, down-forward move used to pull off Ryu’s iconic rising punch and other uppercut-style moves—with a double tap down on the D-pad. This removes one of the annoying barriers that keeps newbies from even executing basic moves; the typical uppercut input is much more difficult than, say, rolling the stick from down to right for a fireball.
Among the main cast, only Hansen, who is half Thai, is of Asian descent. One could argue, however, that the other cast members aren’t entirely white as well, so completely branding it as whitewashing may be inaccurate.
As Erin Chew of YOMYOMF points out, at least two other cast members are persons of color. While Emilie Cocquerel is indeed Caucasian, Luciane Buchanan reportedly has a Pacific Islander/Maori background, and Josh Thomson is of Maori background.
It may also be noted, that while the show is based on the Chinese classic, it will be more of a remake of the hugely popular 1970s Japanese series called “Monkey Magic”.
The version, which has been known for taking liberties with the characters and story arches, even precedes the Chinese-produced TV shows based on “Journey to the West”. This may explain why this new show looks unfamiliar since it is following the approach of the Japanese show and may even be a complete departure from the original epic.
Of course, what can be difficult to deny is the missed opportunity the casting of “The Legend of Monkey” to aspiring Asian-Australian artists who would have made the new show at least closer to home. With an abundance of talented Asians out there, this show’s casting could have been done so much better.

Honestly, I felt like the deaths Carol caused this time around were way worse than what Tony did, because of the utterly selfish reasoning behind it. After she got Rhodes killed she threw herself into the whole turbo-fascism thing to avoid having to confront the fact that it was 100% her fault he died, which led to Bruce Banner being preemptively murdered for something he didn't do, which made her keep going even harder to avoid that guilt too. Seriously, Captain Marvel spent the better part of the last year leaving a trail of bodies behind her to distract herself from the trail of bodies she was leaving behind her.I dunno, that kinda makes me feel more sympathetic to Carol? Tony never really allowed himself to feel much remorse for any of the damage he caused, and it was his own arrogance that pushed him to keep escalating the conflict. The best thing the various creative teams working on Tony during that time were able to come up with were that he's one of the smartest people on Earth, a futurist, so obviously his side is right, and everything he did was justified, and even if it turned out badly the alternative would've been worse. And even with all that, it didn't really help his side.
Thanks for recommendations, though. I'll put it on my list. I'm probably going to start in on Matt Fraction's run on Hawkeye next though, since I've heard nothing but amazing things about it.
Really? D, D + P for an SRK? That would be awkward, IMO.
But I do hope, if it would indeed become true and official, Capcom reconsiders by giving the players an option to choose between Normal or Simple Mode after selecting their characters.
so any info about the roster?
hope they'll put characters we havent seen before like unworthy thor or jane foster thor
Happy Leak Monday
http://iplaywinner.com/news/2017/4/24/eight-new-characters-leaked-for-marvel-vs-capcom-infinite.htmlQuoteSeven faces returning from Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and one new addition will join the upcoming game's cast according to a removed news post.
French gaming website Jeuxvideo posted earlier today that Ultron, Hulk, Thor, Hawkeye, Rocket Raccoon, Chun-Li, Strider and Chris Redfield would all be coming to MvCI before pulling the story. It has been preserved, however, via Google Cache.
Though this news has not been confirmed by Capcom, it comes as a user on NeoGaf has revealed that GameStop locations have received press materials for the game, which would line up with incoming information. It is currently unknown when this news was supposed to be announced and if more details will be coming with it during the official release.

New Arcade Mode's out.
I'm not getting the connection between the next two. It's not as simple as red outfits and childish banter/child-at-heart mentality when older, is it?
