All I have done is the first sprite. The customer and I had an understanding that I'd start on him as soon as I was done with Rikimaru, which will be in the next couple of weeks.



His pants and shirt are color separated. He would have an intro where he removes the red cloak and jacket. Although. i could draw him with the cloak instead. It's a trade off really, whether I want to deal with the detail of the mechanical arm or the animation of the cloak. The customer agreed he does most of his serious fighting without the cloak.

The sprite style is my pseudo-CVS style, like most of my other characters. I realize he's still too tall, since his shortness is a big part of his character. I still need to resize it and edit it some.

His moves would be mostly ground-based alchemy attacks, things like forming walls, spikes, and other stuff with the ground. We also discussed something to do with his blade arm, but we didn't decide how in depth it should be. I suggested he just have it all the time while fighting, but we also talked about a move where he formed it and it could be eventually knocked off (ala Vega's claw).

He would have a super where he creates the big three-barreled cannon he uses at the beginning of the fight with Pride and Father in FMA:BH (I've watched some vids of the SSB-like FMA fighting game they made, and he seems to turn objects into cannons in that game as well). I still have 4 episodes of Brotherhood to finish, so I may get some more ideas by the time it's over. It's been years since I watched the original anime, so if there's a good idea for an attack from that one, feel free to suggest it. His Level 3 would be called "Brotherhood" and would be some sort of tandem attack with him and Alphonse. The customer and I agreed he would be 4 buttons and would fit into the CvTW-mold, but that can be discussed.

That kyo kick looks wicked man you continue to amaze. I wanted to know how many commissions you have currently because I would like to commission a character but if your backed up I'd like to atleast make a down payment to reserve a slot if possible.

We can discuss it. I just need to finish Rikimaru (as I said, two or three more weeks on that, tops), then Ed if things work out. I'm in a rough spot financially since my hours got cut at work, so I may have to take another commission after that as well. It's either that or get a second job, which would allow for virtually no time for Mugen.
