And just to clarify, since I played a little CvS and saw Vice's effects, if the pillar and the skull use the same color (like cvs), the skulls colors need to be inverted?

On the contrary, true palette creators know how ugly modified FX look.  How many real games have different fx for the palettes?  Very few because it looks bad.

This is why I'm the champion and you're all just sorta good.   8)

I just don't know how to edit FX colors even though i'm a "champion palette maker" and i'm making up excuses and writing very fancy so I don't look like a loser when MDD posts his super awesome palettes.

I can and have done modified FX before, I just don't like them and I think they look bad.  See the Kyo post in my palette topic for reasoning.

Not necessarily.  POTS' Ryu has a different palette for Master Ryu in that his Hadouken is yellow, which is a nice nod to old school.  As for the real games, it could also be a case of time, or lack there of.  Some palettes I have seen in real games with the same effect color look pretty ugly.  It's color composition with contrasts, complements, shades, tones, etc.  Changing the effects with colors of the character can be used to enhance the character if you know how (just think of it like a color exercise).  And if nothing else...

That domino combination does not go well with that shade of green.

Or at least change it to the original red/orange shade.

Only problem with that black/grey skull is that it is going to be subtractive, which means the color might not be the ideal.

But are there truly grown men in this world?!

If the skull colors are stupid-looking with the pillar FX, please change them as you like. I don't know how to change subtractive images so that it comes out properly.

Who the fudge is Dusknoir?

Make a Dhalsim palette. Everybody knows that if you make a Dhalsim palette you are automatically the best palette maker ever.
