Everybody has their own haters. Like me for example.

When you criticize characters, authors can have a rather bad habit of being a bit too proud of their work and take your words towards their character as a personal insult to themselves. Fortunately, I have found that sort of reaction to be a minority.
Other than that nobody can resist my fluffy, adorable charm.

The only ones u really see get hate are the people who rush their chars that others expect to be good

Oh right, I got a bunch of hate with this Jason Todd (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBjJTbMhlCI) release. The whole comment section was a real shitshow (it's lame that some of them got deleted). I even got death threats from some of them? It's hilarious to see how pissed off some people were over a small edit.

Nowadays people get hate for no reason, imagine when you give them one.
About my creations, yeah, I got hate once just because of the style I liked to make my characters, and it wasn't so long ago. Outside MUGEN, I just got hate messages in an online game, because I said the guy was "too desperate" (is a game where you have to guess what the other person is drawing, this guy was typing lots of words before they even start to draw).

My method of creating characters (namely using others' characters and their assets as a base with usually only the coding being all mine) hasn't really changed much throughout my years of being in this community. The only difference is that such a practice was very frowned upon all those years ago.

Not sure if counts, but sometimes my April's Fools chars can bother people who expected the real character and i sent them a joke. Like Rose and Frank West, who wew in reality a El Bananero reference and a Dalek respectively
And I think also counts when I start a character expected for many... and I finished it years after the original date I say i'm gonna make it (Eric took 6 years to be made FYI)

Pretty petty to hate a human over a harmless AF joke. Saint Pepsiman trolled me hard and I just laughed it off in good fun.
