What is your favorite adventure game series of all time?

Well....i edited the thread title here...since i made one previously that already existed  :'(


So id like to say Castlevania series is my top favorite of all time. It all started for me on NES. loved it all since then. i always liked horror movies so that was a reason why too. The music was great and just the different monsters, stages and action alone were awesome to me.....

lol yeah that was the EARLY days man...not for kids but ill say it had more action packed and cool fight scenes than the TYPICAL tentacle and demon rape animes Youve probably seen before. this was the only one (this and the second movie) i could digest when it came to that and animes that dark. soundtrack was hot in both and the fight scenes were hella cool....other than that FAST FORWARD-FAST FOWARD haha

Ratchet & Clank. The first game of this series I played was Going Commando. I was always an Xbox/Gamecube guy and this was the one game that really sold me on the PS2; not Final Fantasy X, but this silly furry shooting game. It's Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon on meth; great stories filled with tons of eccentric, memorable characters (especially Captain Qwark and Ace Hardlight) and awesome weaponry.

Anything legend of zelda,  Ocarina of Time is my all time fav
I loved everything about it ,  gameplay,  graphics,  music,  story.

I played the minish cap not too long ago and I was surprised
someone other than nintendo (capcom) could produce the same
level of awesomeness with zelda.

Yeah i was big into dynasty warriors in the earlier PS2 days. didnt really start diggin the vibe again till fist of the north star kens rage. I got 1 & 2
I still wish i had a chance to get the old Transformers G1 version on import.....yeah...this shit right here

In all seriousness though it'd have to be D though it was really the first D that was an adventure game while its sequel was more of a survival horror-RPG.

Just like you read it.  I hate dynasty warriors its been played out to death.
Hopefully the Zelda version brings something new to the franchise instead
of just LOZ skins on 3d models.


Plus its fucking Link!  So i have to try this out. 
They cant fail with Link...well they better not!


Im trying to forget the CDI crap that came out
a lonnngg time ago in a galaxy far... far.... away...

I've never been big on adventure games, but if action adventure counts I was quite partial to Goof Troop for the SNES.
