So my kid brother's been watching the entirety of Dragonball and Dragonball Z. This afternoon, the conversation goes like this.Brother: Hey, Buu saga, is this real?Me: Ummm, Yeah.Brother: Are you sure it's not like the Garlic Jr. saga?Me: What do you mean?Brother: I mean, is this filler? Because I really want to skip this arc.Me: No. Afraid not. Plus it's the last one.Brother: (groans really loud) Why didn't it end after the Cell saga?!
The Cell saga is the best. But DB as a whole is kinda bad. Or at very least it has aged pretty badly. I still like it to watch it, though. Nostalgia is a powerful thing.

I actually found the Cell saga to be the worst. Seemed like there was a lot more episodes with just characters standing around screaming and charging up.Buu arc was my favorite because it seemed to have the most fights that got to the actual point of fighting.

I remember yelling at my tv because Trunks and/or Vegeta would be fighting Cell and the whole ep would be them charging their power up yelling. I'm sure Cell himself had a couple except he talked crap while charging up.At least training is pushing some sort of storyline! The best was at the end against Kid Buu. I love me some Kid Buu. Though as a Vegeta fan I didn't like how much Veggy got served and became so useless."I better hold off Buu for Kakorrot!" Doesn't even turn SS to fight "Agh I am getting devastated as much as if I was SS, it's like transformations do nothing for me now!!!"
Remember Vegeta never reached the "permanent SSJ" level where he can chill and still stay SSJ, like Goku and Gohan did staying SSJ through the week before the Cell Games. He has to be out to wreck some shit before he can turn SSJ.... And it wouldn't have made much of a difference anyway, the result would have been the same, he'd have gotten his ass kicked just to wait for Goku to charge up.
That reason doesn't make my younger fanboy self feel any better at all no matter how much sense it makes now!!! >:-(
