*ahem*
Sven is the guy Capcom of America has to bullshit for damage control or cases of laziness. He's also evil.

For example, he had once said three years back that the Justice Gakuen/Rival Schools franchise would never, EVER have a way of coming back because they lost the licenses to voices, mostly regarding Shiozawa Kaneto's death. Regardless, Capcom of Japan have finally re-released the first game on PSN Japan due to extremely high demand, opening possibilities for future installments and possible ports of Project Justice. When Sven was questioned by many on the matter of the licensing situation worldwide, he has yet given an answer.
When asked about why PC ports of games already made on development software that is already optimized for mid-end PC play for games initially made for PC in the first place (see SFIV, while on the TX2, it was not a resource hog and could run on low end machines rather well) get a 1 or 2 month delay or even a year, he stated the exact opposite.
When he asked the community if we wanted Darkstalkers, he knew damn well we wanted either a new installment or an arcade port of Savior. As US senior VP and head of marketing, he decided the best way to see our interest would be by re-releasing the first Vampire game on PSX, easily the worst thing you could possibly do, to judge sales in order to gauge interest. The worst part is it wasn't even on Japanese PSN because everyone KNEW it was shit. But people bought it anyways so we could hope to see Backbone pull what they did with Super Turbo, Puzzle Fighter, MVC2 and 3rd Strike already as those were all simple DC ports, and Vampire: For Matching Service on DC was as good as it got in terms of Vampire as we had every single option possible. He decided instead to recently announce Darkstalkers 3 for re-release on PSN, which was on JP PSN as a better-than-nothing alternative quite some time ago, which is really our equivalent of a pity fuck and a spit in the face not only to company loyalists but also supporters of the franchise.
Recently he had stated Megaman Powered Up for PSP would not receive a PSN release to to SCEA not being "able to adapt the game for digital distribution", pinning the blame on them ever subtly for unreasonable technical "issues" when in reality it should run as an ISO of the game would; without problems. Ironically, in JP PSN, Rockman Rockman is being sold on the Japanese Capcom Store as a highly received downloadable title and has remained so for quite a while.
Also apparently he is responsible for shutting down the Resident Evil: Outbreak and Monster Hunter servers in 2007, three years prior to planned shutdown, making the entire company lose an estimated $30 million. He passed the blame to god knows who.
After all this, bringing JoJo here even as a PSX port would probably make Hell freeze over. There would be illegitimate unacquired license claims everywhere.
