Title: Bundles, Awesome Deals and Free Games Thread
Post by: "Bad News" Hoffmann on November 10, 2016, 07:40:06 pm
Thought it might be a good idea to have an extra thread for them instead of posting something like bundle deals or whe companies are giving a game for free in the gaming news thread.

If you see a cool bundle, super cheap prices or even free games, please share the news and links here

https://uplay.ubi.com/
You can get FarCry 3 Blood Dragon for free via U-Play/Ubisoft Club during November 2016.
Ubisoft is celebrating their 30th Anniversary and gives one game for free each month since July

Dirt 3 is available for free via the Humble Store today and tomorrow (11.11) if you connect your steam account to Humble
https://www.humblebundle.com/store

There is also a pretty cool Humble Bundle with Killing Floor, Dangerous Golf and Shadow Complex Remastered for just one dollar, it ends next week
https://www.humblebundle.com/unreal-engine-bundle

And here is the Black Friday Walmark Ad:

edit: Game names are in bold now for,,Reasons.

IMO, you should change the title to something more direct, it sounds too much like publicity as is.  Maybe Bundles and deals thread?

Hmm changed it to The Bundle Deals and Free Games Thread ..only BADASS Bundle Deals and Free Games Thread would sound even better!

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is one of the December Humble Monthly games, Humble Monthly is a subscription based service  similar to ps+, but for PC.
https://www.humblebundle.com/monthly

You pay 12 bucks per month and get 7-8 games per month. Dragon's Dogma costs officially 40 euro on steam still. so alone for that game its a pretty good deal already. Its possible to subscribe for only one month. No matter for how long you subscribe, the games stay in your steam library.

Highly recommend Nocturne for those who like the more hardcore approach to jrpgs, and DDS to those that like difficulty + good storyline and characters(DDS is really different from other SMTs,as it has a talent tree,"food" system and is much more story driven)
Only 3$ for any of these games is an amazing deal my dudes

Shank and Shank 2 are both reduced from 10 to 2,50€ from today till next monday on Steam, other games by Klei like Don't Starve are also reduced

The Tomb Raider franchise is also reduced at Steam currently

Rise of the Tomb Raider is down to 25€, TR from 2013 down to 5€, the still great - in my opinion - Tomb Raider Anniversary and Underworld cost 2,24@ each, guess the prices are similar reduced in dollars.

If it helps, you only have to use it once to download the games, then link the .exe file to Steam. After that, you don't need UPlay.
