Technically, everyone in this topic has made goals, but that's because they're not concerned about unnecessary semantics like you.

Don't get me wrong, it's not an annoyance to me, it's just bothersome.

I agree, there is no difference between a New Year's Resolution and a personal goal, it's just a convenient time to set one. (i.e. "New Year, New You")

Well...it really isn't. People are filled with fake resolve around new year, and that's why they drop most of their plans before february. Much like the goodwill of people during Christmas, it's gonna die before Valentine's Day.

Setting a plausible goal should be done with a cool head, not in the 'heat' of the season. The only person I've met that actually accomplished a new year's resolution did so because he was working on that before new year.

 ...His resolution was to "get in shape".

to my surprise, I was able to complete a majority of my new years resolutions (including staying in shape). Think I'll keep 2013 pretty simple...

- pay off all my debts.
- join the ranks of great spriters like Balthazaar and Diepod.
- meet someone from the guild in person. again.

Well hopefully I can get this all done before summer 2013...

- Spend more time with my family
- Loose some weight and gain some muscle
- Update my A+ Certs
- Travel and explore Thailand in a week
- Purchase a new car
- Make some of my own original art and upload it on DA

- Start work on SFIII 3rd SP for 640x480
