Cleveland authorities will have a hard time providing some explanations.

Apparently neighbors have been calling the police for years alerting of women being held captive at that house, and yet police did nothing. Damn, I suppose they just called the door and asked: "Mr. Castro, is everything all right at home? Yes? Ok, then we're leaving... have a nice day."

I feel sorry for the girl that had the baby in the house without any medical help... this is sickening... hope the bastard gets a lot of attention when he is in jail for what he did.

That's completely wrong. Search warrants are obtained through probable cause. "Proof or reasonable doubt" is not a legal standard of proof. Proof BEYOND a reasonable doubt IS a standard of proof, but it's only the standard of proof needed for the conviction of a defendant during a criminal trial.

Witnesses don't lead straight to probable cause, but with a lot of witnesses calling 911 about a house that contains slaves, I'm sure the law enforcement agencies could have convinced some judge that multiple witnesses (hopefully verified witnesses) could lead to probable cause. That might be a new court case for the U.S. Supreme Court. Or it might not.
